(1) Improper CRIT Displayed in the case of CQUERY Failure Suspend
Item Description Contents A TC390 pair suspended due to WCHK1, and M-VOL write Inhibit occurred because CRIT=YES. However, "CRIT=NO" was displayed in the CQUERY information though "CRIT=YES" was specified when a pair was created. Conditions This problem occurs with the following conditions met. 1. TC390 Sync pair exists, and CRIT=YES or Fence level=Data/Status is set. 2. The pair was suspended due to a cause other than RVOL failure (Disconnection of path between MCU and RCU, RCU failure) (CQUERY pair status code=0x06/0x09) 3. CQUERY is issued to MVOL from PPRC -> CRIT=NO is displayed. VREPORT REPLICA is issued to MVOL from VSS -> Fence level=Never is displayed. Category True Copy for S/390 Changed DKCMAIN
(2) Invalid Pair Status when Reverse-Re-sync Failure
Item Description Contents After Reverse-Resync failed for the True Copy Async/ True Copy for S/390 Async pairs without path from RCU to MCU registered, when recreating the pairs using a different consistency group, EC=CC14 was reported and the operation failed again. Conditions The problem occurs with all the following conditions met. 1. True Copy Async/ True Copy for S/390 Async volumes, 2. Performing Reverse-Resync in the status of no path registered (from RCU to MCU), 3. Some pairs had Reverse-Resync succeeded before. Category True Copy Async/ True Copy for S/390 Async Changed DKCMAIN
(3) IFCC when Running SAK
Item Description Contents IFCC occurred when the SAK program was running. Because the Buffer-to-Buffer-Credit became zero on the path from the switch to DKC, the frame, which DKC were waiting for, failed to issue to DKC. Therefore DKC detected the waiting frame time over (HTP EC=2CF5) and DKC started ABTS (Abort Sequence) procedure. Conditions SAK program issued the specific CCW with a large count, and HTP started the internal data transfer procedure in DKC. At that time, DKC sent the status frame for the previous CCW that issued before that specific CCW. Then HTP stopped the data transfer, but Receiver Ready signal failed to the switch at that time. Category FICON Changed HTP
