Budget Project: Jack Shang and Bardia

Hassanalizadeh
I am Bardia Hassanalizadeh. After I graduated Port Moody
Secondary and got an IB diploma, I now work as a IT technician at Wan
industries.

Jack is my high school friend who went to MIT. He studied at MIT

and graduated with a major in engineering. Now he is working at an
engineering company in downtown Vancouver called Wang Industries
and has a great opportunity in the very near future to become an
executive, from which point on he will start my own company. We rent
an apartment together, and we split the costs of living.

Income:
-Jack has an annual income of $44449 before tax and $35673 after tax
(-$8776).
-Bardia has an annual income of $35200 before tax and $28895 after tax
(-$6305).
All dollars are Canadian.
Rent Expenses:
The apartment would need a $2600 negotiable monthly rate,
assuming we do negotiate a lower price that would be about the same
as the utilities fee, each of us will have to pay $1300 a month which
comes down to $15600.

Furnishing and appliances:

1. South shore step one platform bed queen sized bed each 199.42
2. $241.9 for half of sofa bed
3. $64.4 for half of dinner table
4. $137.99 for half of 4 dinner chair set (2 chairs)

6. $322.54 for mattress
7. $90.7 for night stand

Food Expenses: $4100 per year, $2050 each
The expense costs are based largely on food preferences and the
average annual food costs of a four person family with a $40,000 before
tax income ( approx 10%). We have estimated our food cost to be that of
an average family of four because both Jack and I are active individuals
with large appetites.
