Nos encontramos ya en el mes de
septiembre, todo empieza a volver ya a
la normalidad. Pronto se pondrán en
marcha todas las actividades normales
del curso. Entre esas actividades que se
ponen en marcha, hay una que a veces
me ha hecho reflexionar y que hoy nos
puede servir para darnos cuenta de lo
que quiere decirnos el evangelio que cabamos de escuchar.
Para ser cristianos hay que querer serlo. Y SI NO, MEJOR
SERIA BORRARSE. y luego Jesús termina con una
sentencia clara y definitiva, que explica las condiciones que
uno debe ser capaz y estar dispuesto a aceptar: “El que no
renuncia a todos sus bienes, no puede ser discípulo mio”.
Así como para entrar en la universidad, si uno no tiene ganas
de estudiar o no sabe, es mejor que no entre, para ser
seguidor de Jesús uno tiene que estar dispuesto a renunciar
a todo, a ESCOGER A JESUS Y SU EVANGELIO POR
ENCIMA DE TODO. Hay que amar a Jesús por encima
de toda cosa; hay que aceptar la cruz de Jesús. y si no,
mejor no meterse. ¿Que significan esas condiciones que
Jesús pone a los que quieran seguirlo, las condiciones de
amarlo a él por encima de toda cosa, y llevar su cruz? La
primera condición es ésa: amar a Jesús por encima de toda
cosa. Es decir -explica el Evangelio con dureza- hay que
posponer al padre y a la madre, a la esposa y a los hijos...

….Este eco hace que pasemos por alto todos los cambios
de este siglo. Nos lleva más allá de la superficie al mismo
corazón del cristianismo: Jesús vive... nosotros somos su
cuerpo… debemos alegrarnos.
Uno de los problemas de hoy, como dijeron los obispos
reunidos en la ciudad de Puebla en enero del 1979, “es el de
los cambios en la Iglesia. Al avanzar por la historia, la Iglesia
necesariamente cambia, pero ciertamente tan sólo en lo ex-
terior y accidental. El problema de los cambios ha hecho
sufrir a muchos cristianos que han visto derrumbarse una
forma de vivir la Iglesia que creían eterna. Es importante
ayudarlos a distinguir entre los elementos divinos y humanos
de la Iglesia. Cristo, en cuanto Hijo de Dios, permaneció
siempre idéntico a sí mismo. Pero en su aspecto humano
fue cambiando sin cesar; de porte, de rostro, de aspecto.
Igual sucede con la Iglesia.”
Estos ecos nos piden un cambio. Tenemos que eliminar
cualquier actitud que nos separa de este cuerpo de Jesús
que es tu mismo cuerpo. Por ejemplo: ¿Tienes algún recuerdo
desagradable de la Iglesia del pasado que te impide participar
de lleno hoy día? Si este es el caso, piensa en esto: Jesús
vive hoy en su cuerpo. La es el presente, no el pasado.
