Didactic Phase Attendance Policy – Contact Guidelines

In case of an absence during the didactic phase, the student must email their
Academic Advisor and the Administrative Assistant. In most cases, this must be
done prior to the class that will be missed. Failure to notify the Academic Advisor
and the Administrative Assistant will result in an unexcused absence. In the event
of three (3) or more unexcused absences, the student will be referred to the
academic performance committee.

Clinical Phase Attendance Policy – Who to Contact Guidelines

In case of an absence during the clinical phase, the student must call their Site
Preceptor and email their Academic Advisor, the Clinical Coordinator and the
Administrative Assistant. In most cases, this must be done prior to the rotation
that will be missed. Failure to notify the Site Preceptor, Academic Advisor, Clinical
Coordinator and the Administrative Assistant will result in an unexcused absence.
In the event of three (3) or more unexcused absences, the student will be referred
to the academic performance committee.
