Having ploughed their way through the Underground
Scene Society of Alumni have become known for
energising and mesmeric stage performances.

The unique individuality of each artist comes through

alongside the stage presence, alibilty to engage with the
crowd, which allows SOA to perform in front of many
different types of live audiences.

The collective possess a magnetic dynamic between each

other that transmits directly to the crowd.

With over 70 shows within a 16th month period, including

opening up for Acts such as Bishop Nehru (Mass Appeal
Records), Astroid Boys (Sony Records), SOA have
travelled around the UK with shows in London,
Nottingham, Bristol and Cardiff.

SOA are available for Live Performances for Various types

of events bookings such as Festivals, Exhibitions &
Showcases, Charity Events, Corporate Functions,
Seminars / Talks & Under 18’s events.
 In 2012 the laws of attraction draws together a
group of young, talented, artistic individuals to
become the change they wanted to see within the
UK music scene.
There dedication and love for music and creativity
soon formed Society Of Alumni:
Mula, iSEE, Jaspo Beats, Flewid, Mak, Vels,
Bad jaY, Devante and DJ Amari

Originating from South London, SOA is a hip hop based

collective raised & inspired by the era of the 1990’s.
With their focus pointed on growing within everyday life as
young creatives, while transmitting that through their music.
The creative collective also has non musical members who
create within fashion design, graphic design and visual arts.

Motivation through energy is the
ethos the collective embodies.
Society of Alumni are an innovative
group of young creatives seeking to
revolutionise the underground hip-hop
world. Formed in 2012, SOA began to
cultivate their unique brand of J-Dilla
textures and jumpy, exciting melodies
which translates itself heavily with
their engaging performance abilities.
The supported upmanship amongst
members Flewid, BadJay, Mak, Vels,
Devante Vaughn, Mula and ISEE,
encourages the high-level sounds to
continuously pour out of SOA. The
ease in which SOA combine lyrical
flow and delivery is noteworthy

individuality. Alongside productions
with YXNG JYNN on ‘Round Table
Discussions’, Jaspo beats (SOA) and
Space CWB on ‘Aims in Effect’ the
collective can be seen experimenting
with diversifying into a more
snare-centric and trap lead direction.
‘Here As We Are’ reaffirms the
confidence the crew have always had,
highlighting their visible growth. The
notable excitement this project has
evoked can largely be credited with the
cohesion demonstrated throughout the
projects.
