E. Laboratory Duties:
4. Promptly submit three (3) copies of reports of inspections and test to Project
Manager, including:
a. date issued;
b. project title and number;
c. testing laboratory name and address;
d. name and signature of inspector;
e. date of inspection or sampling;
f record of temperature and weather;
g. date of test;
h. identification of product and specification section;
i. location of project;
j. type of inspection or test;
k. observation s regarding compliance with Contract Documents.
5. Stamp fabricated items found to be in compliance with field measurement and the
Contract Drawings and Specifications.
Quality Control
A. General: Upon completion of inspection, testing, sample- taking and similar services
performed on the work, repair damaged work and restore substrates and finishes to
eliminate deficiencies, including deficiencies in the visual qualities of exposed finishes.
Comply with the contract document requirements for "Cutting and Patching". Protect work
exposed by or for quality control service activities and protect repaired work. Repair and
protection is the Contractor's responsibility, regardless of the assignment of responsibility
for inspection, testing and similar services.
Source of Material
A. The Project Manager shall be notified in writing of the sources from which all
material incorporated in the work shall be obtained. Such notifications shall be given as soon
as possible after Notice to Proceed But not later than 20 days after Notice to Proceed.
B. The contractor shall furnish Certificates of Compliance for all material requested.
C. The contractor shall secure approval from the Project Manager for all other
intended sources.
