The ‘Oil & Gas: Future Industry Leaders Programme’ (FILP) was created in
response to the Leadership for Change agenda of the Energy Jobs Taskforce
Leadership Leadership
(EJTF) and part funded by Scottish Enterprise. The FILP programme aims to Retreat Coaching
support the Leadership for Change agenda, to ensure the next generation of
leaders have the skills and support to drive positive change.
FILP has been designed to improve industry performance through
collaboration and a step change in industry behaviour, to create a safe, Learning Learning
Journey Circle
competitive and enduring future for Scotland's oil & gas sector and help
deliver the Industry Vision for 2035. Four programmes have now been
delivered, involving 40 emerging leaders from across the oil & gas industry
with constantly excellent feedback.

The coaching was the most valuable part of FILP for me. I'm very interested in Leadership and
development so was quite familiar with the theoretical aspect. This was my first experience of coaching
though and I found it engaging, (positively) challenging and really useful
