Founded 2017

Aldo Beqiraj Zach Pelka Steve Schofield Greg Bessoni Connor Swofford Evan Weiss
Founder CEO Founder, CTO Founder, CCE COO General Counsel

Coinstash was founded by a group of talented makers with a unique

Investor
combination of hardware, software, and business operations expertise.
We started Coinstash with a few simple goals in mind: help advance
Blockchain & Cryptocurrency adoption and build a better way for
developers to generate revenue. In alignment with product strategy, Coinstash has brought on
Zach Pelka as the new CEO and Aldo will be focused solely on product development.

Pilot Definitions
Userbase Scenario 1
• AnchorFree successfully acquires a significant number of daily downloads. We will offer an
incentive to these new users.
• CTA to install desktop app and opt-in to receive premium features via mining.
• Transition to Scenario 2 for retention, cross-sell opportunities and retention.
• Goal: monetize free users who would not have generated any revenue.

Userbase Scenario 2
• Offer existing paying customers (non-miners) gift-card incentive to use app.
• While they use the app, they mine towards a gift card amount which we can offer through
the Coinstash Platform APIs (via 3rd party service).
• Learn from pilot to understand & apply best, new ways to offer add-on rewards to existing
customers in order to increase LTV , ex: gamification, raffles, referral, etc.
• Goal: continue to monetize users, well beyond the average 6-month churn.

Cloud Mining Scenario

• Take advantage of the spare capacity cloud computing resources from paying users’
instances, and pass on the reward to them.
• Automatically mine within premium users’ instance, which goes mostly unused
throughout their subscription.
• On a standard B-Series, 2-core VM running at just 50%, AnchorFree could generate $7.704/
mo (less Coinstash fee) from unused resources, and pass that value on to user s in
whatever way management sees fit.
• Warning: entering developer zone! SSH into our Azure demo instance and check it out - it’s
very straightforward to initiate the miner, and if you need help, just launch the
README.md file. See your mined progress in the test Coinstash pool & wallet address.

Mac Testing App & Calculator

An internal demo app for AnchorFree employees to test out the Coinstash
framework and estimate earnings in order to assist with pilot definition.
Download: http://bit.ly/coinstash-profit-calc
To use the calculator input the average hash rate per user (Hash/S), total user
base, and daily usage (equivalent to the amount of time the hash rate is
maintained per day). The calculator uses API data to update the real-time
Monero price. Adjusting the time interval for Earnings displays the potential
value if the current Monero and USD values remain constant over the selected
period.

Windows Framework Update & Performance
Following the development of our MacOS Framework and Coinstash MacOS
app, we started developing the equivalent for the Windows platform during
May 2018.

We will provide a Windows Dynamic Linked Library (DLL) and access to a

Github repository with example implementation. We are preparing
documentation, which will be closely based on the MacOS interface.
This will be made available to AnchorFree team as part of the first stage of
implementation during June 2018.

Known Issues
• Miner is likely to be flagged by Windows Anti-virus software
• Doesn’t support x32bit architecture

Research & Development
As part of our continuous dedication to improving the performance of our
tools and offer, we have been developing a next generation mining engine.
Early indications show that this could drastically improve the performance and
overcome the known issues mentioned above.

Key Features
• Early benchmarks indicate 30% improvement in efficiency (higher hash-
rates), which will improve mining speeds.
• Currently off-radar from the Anti-virus systems, due to some techniques used
within the executable. Though considered a short-term position, this is a very
important factor even for early pilot tests.
• Supports x32bit architectures, expanding total addressable market

CPU & GPU Benchmarks
This is a list of benchmarks for today’s most commonly used CPUs and GPUs, both for Intel
and AMD. CPU HashRate is based on an average CPU usage of 50% per day, and the value
generated is expressed in USD over a 30 day period. The live Google document can be found

Coinstash & AnchorFree Roles & Responsibilities

17

Coinstash provides a Windows DLL or MacOS Framework (‘the Framework’) as a pre-compiled

binary that can be easily embedded into the AnchorFree (‘the Publisher’) application. The
Framework controls the starting and stopping of the mining processes, managing the CPU
usage and how that resource is targeted across available CPU Cores. The Framework manages
the connection of mining nodes (‘workers’) to a dedicated Proxy network for AnchorFree. The
Proxy network is responsible for consolidating traffic to the Pool. The Framework will find the
appropriate configuration to optimize performance for the User Device, such as selection of
appropriate port, to improve mining efficiencies.

The Framework can benefit from either static Currency selection or dynamic ‘smart mining’,
changing currency for the network based on the profitability and strategic crypto-economic
strategies. The Proxy network manages which Pool to connect to, ensuring that network traffic
can be effectively distributed and optimized. The Pools make payout to Coinstash Managed
Wallets. Managed Wallets are available for both the workers, which in this case would be
individual users and the Publisher (if required, else we integrate with your own wallets).

Scenario 1 - Workers make payments directly to a dedicated managed Coinstash-Publisher

wallet. Coinstash makes payments from this wallet to a nominated Publisher Wallet, or
alternatively via fiat currency wire transfer at the pre-agreed intervals.

Scenario 2 - Workers make payments directly to a User Managed Wallet. Coinstash manages
the transfer of payments from this wallet to the Publisher wallet according to both the a) base
level transactions for AnchorFree upgrade b) additional transactions for Gift Card and other
incentive mechanisms.

Our solution provides you with a turnkey solution and only requires the following steps:
• Design UI of how their users opt-in to the mining payment solution
• Set up Bank Wire info with Coinstash
• Get paid

Fee, User Opt-in, Transparency, and UX
Guidelines

Fee
For the services Coinstash provides to AnchorFree, Coinstash will have the right
to 50% of all tokens generated by AnchorFree users (the “Fee”). Coinstash shall
have the right to the Fee at the time of token generation by the AnchorFree
User.

Transparency and UX Guidelines

Coinstash has the final approval rights relating to the implementation of
AnchorFree user opt-in process, which shall include, but is not limited to, full
compliance with all transparency and UX guidelines required by Coinstash.
Coinstash reserves this right, due to the importance Coinstash places on
receiving proper informed consent from all AnchorFree users prior to them
using the Framework.

Technical & FAQ
Q: What are the permissions required for the Mac Platform?
A: For direct distribution of signed app, no special permissions are necessary.
For Mac App Store, based on previous experience, com.apple.security.inherit
was sufficient for operating within the sandbox.

Q: What are the permissions required for the Windows Platform?

A: For direct distribution, we do not currently foresee any special system
permissions being required. However, as of right now, any mining apps tend to
be flagged as “Bitcoin mining” software by most Antivirus software. Users must
whitelist our app for the mining process to run. Special permissions and
acceptance of mining apps in the Windows app store is to be confirmed.

Q: What are the system requirements for Mac?

A: The Mac Miner, written in Swift, supports MacOS 10.9 minimum version and
will run on most Mac devices, though with performance variability.

Q: What are the system requirements for Windows?

A: Currently, the miner will only run on x64 architecture. We are testing a new
version which will extend minimum support to Windows Vista 32-bit, with a
SSE2 capable CPU.

Q: Is there a GPU version?

A: Our focus is on broad CPU support as a priority but we are working on the
interface and support features for GPU mining. The GPU roadmap trails the
CPU roadmap in terms of priority, but intention is to achieve parity of support
for different use cases.
