You can use Slack to interact with classmates, ask general questions, coordinate in
person meet-ups with other students, and more! If you’re new to Slack, don’t worry.
You’ll find it’s super easy to learn and that it’s a great way to communicate with other
students.
The key way to use Slack is through "Channels," each of which focuses on a specific
topic. You can see a list of all the channels by clicking on "Channels" on the left side of
your slack page. While you'll be automatically entered into a couple channels when you
join Slack, take a couple minutes to go through all the channels available and join the
ones that are of interest to you.

in my last announcement. I hope this announcement will help you clear things on
this.

*What are Reverse AMAs?*
I think most of you must have guessed it by now, but still. This time we won’t be
just having our usual AMA sessions as earlier. Well truly speaking I have some
questions for you guys and I would be really obliged if you could answer them for
me. *So basically this time I will be asking the questions, you will be answering
them.*

*When and where will Reverse AMAs happen?*
The session will be taken at the usual #ama_official channel where all the other
AMAs are held. For your particular track, it will take place on Tuesday this week
at 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

*Still have questions? No worries we’ve got you covered!*
I know since it’s the last week of the program, many of you still have some
questions, so I will be taking usual AMA session during the first half of the time
allotted. (i.e. 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM) and in the second half we will be beginning
with the Reverse AMA session. (i.e. 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM). Other than that you can
always DM your queries.

*I am not available during that time, what do I do?*
We know that most of you are working professionals and won’t be available
during that time and since the *activity carries points*, what you can do is answer
those questions later on. The questions will still be there for you to answer on the
#ama_official channel and you can reply to those questions on the thread so that
your responses can be recorded.

I hope this resolved most of your concerns. Will see you all on the #ama_official

*Can I use Donut in a private channel or group?*
Unfortunately no, you can only use Donut in public channels.

*How do I switch Donut from one channel to another?*
Head over to donut.ai and you can switch the channel for Donut. Just hit "Sign In"
in the upper right if you're not already signed in.

*Can I use Donut in more than one channel?*
Yes! Set up Donut in more channels by visiting donut.ai.

*What does "pairing" mean?*
Donut selects two people who don't know each other well, creates a group DM
between them, and tells them to meet for :coffee:, :hamburger:, or :doughnut:s.

*How does Donut pick who gets paired?*

Donut uses a special :sparkles:algorithm:sparkles: that looks at who's in what
public channels in order to pair people who don't interact much. It also prioritizes
new pairings over ones that have happened before. Donut doesn't look at any
messages or message data to pick the pairs.

*What if there are an odd number of people?*
If there are an odd number of people in the channel then Donut will make a group
of three.

*How often does Donut pair people?*
You can choose to have Donut pair every 1 to 4 weeks.

*What time do the pairings happen?*
Donut sends the pairings at 10 a.m. in your team's local time. You can configure
the time zone for your team at donut.ai.

*Why are you called Donut?*

How to access the Correct Scholarship Discussion

Forums
We have created special forums--moderated by Udacity mentors--available only

to your scholarship classmates and you.
Follow these instructions to ensure you always go to the correct discussion

forum:
1. Make sure you are logged in using the email account you received your
scholarship with
2. Ensure you are in your Google India Challenge Scholarship course

3. Once you are looking at a specific lesson in your scholarship course, you
can click on the “file” option, on the left-hand side toolbar. You’ll then see a
link to the forums.
The screenshot above shows how to access the correct forums.
It's important to always access the discussion forums using this method;
otherwise you may run the risk of mistakenly accessing a discussion forum open
to the general public that is not supported by Udacity mentors.
Using the Discussion Forums
When you go to the discussion forum, check to see if someone else has already
posted your question. If yes, then you may find an answer right away! If no one
has already posted your question, go ahead and post it. An expert mentor from
Udacity or even one of your classmates will follow-up to ensure you get an answer
to your question!

associated with the app to make that layout. As layout designing is a major part
of making an android app this will allow the users to easily decide what codes to
