JAPANESE TRADITIONAL SCHOOL OF YAWARA JUTSU

The Japanese Traditional School of Yawara Jutsu, is the heiress and official
representative in Spain, of the millenarian martial system, invented in Japan at
the beginning of the XII century (It was Fujiwara) by Master Kamakura Ushogi. This
ancient martial system was known at the time as USHOGUI RYU YAWARA JUTSU.

This Traditional Japanese School, almost extinguished with the passage of time,
still maintains a small official representation in Japan, and in the same way also,
in some western countries such as Spain, Norway, Germany, France and the United
States.

In its technical system we can find more than a thousand old techniques of self-
defense (dislocations, levers, projections, strangulations, etc). As well as two
ancient systems of traditional weapons represented in the Katana and the Yari.

This traditional martial system was practiced for centuries by the ancient
samurai. His techniques were the inspiring base for many other masters that over
time evolved into other new systems, such as the YAWARA-GE (invented at the end of
the 13th century by Sinamuro Takedashi), the YAWARA GIHO (invented in the mid-14th
century) by Aono Kurokochi), the AIKI-YAWARA (invented at the beginning of the 15th
century by Mochizuki Tanaka) and finally the YAWARA-DO (invented in the 16th
century by Tamakura Iedoshi).

We must also point out that from these ancient systems of the traditional Yawara
Jutsu flourished in turn, other more modern systems, which today are known as
BUGUEI, AIKI-JU-JUTSU, JU-JUTSU, AIKIDO, JUDO, etc.,

His Philosophy based on the ancient BUSHIDO (Japanese Warrior Code), as well as
his disciplined and profound practice, through his rude education and not without
pain sometimes, allow us to discover in this medieval martial art, balance and
self-control, that man needs so much for modern life. This Martial Art is
oriented, mainly, to those who are interested in finding an alternative to life.
