CITY SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL FOR BEING THE 2 ND PLACE WINNER IN THE
ESSAY WRITING CONTEST NATIONAL LEVEL DURING THE NATIONAL
DISASTER RESILIENCE MONTH 2017 CELEBRATION

WHEREAS, the Provincial Government of Cagayan recognizes the efforts of Cagayanos

and educational institutions towards excellence and distinction in the field of education
that bring honor to the Province;

WHEREAS, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC)
through the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) held the National Disaster Resilience Month
(NDRM) 2017 at the GHQ Canopy, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City

WHEREAS, the OCD led the awarding of where they winners for the nationwide
contests held in observance of this year’s NDRM with the theme, “4Ks: Kamalayan sa
Kahandaan, Katumbas ay Kaligtasan”;

WHEREAS, Top three winners for the Theme-writing, Poster-making and Essay-writing
contests were recognized as well as the top 12 finalists for the 2 nd Resilience Mobile
Photography Contest;

WHEREAS, Mr. Clarence Angelo P. Bagay, a student of Tuguegarao City Science High
School won 2nd Place in the Essay Writing Contest National Level;

WHEREAS, Mr. Clarence Angelo P. Bagay has made the Province of Cagayan proud by
virtue of such achievement, truly worthy the Sanggunian’s commendation.

WHEREFORE, on joint motion of the Board Members present, be it

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, TO COMMEND CLARENCE ANGELO

P. BAGAY OF TUGUEGARAO CITY SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL FOR BEING THE 2 ND
PLACE WINNER IN THE ESSAY WRITING CONTEST NATIONAL LEVEL DURING
THE NATIONAL DISASTER RESILIENCE MONTH 2017 CELEBRATION

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Mr. Clarence

Angelo P. Bagay and Tuguegarao City Science High School for their information.
