Die Cast Aluminum Housing-Contoured

assembly includes top casting and one
piece cast access door. Finished with hard,
textured baked gray enamel ior weather and
cotrosion resistance.

Hinged and Latched Access Door Forms

boltom of housing and houses refractor.
Hinges on integral mechanism for clear
access to interior during installation and
maintenance. Fastens with a double action,
spring loaded aluminLlm lalch.

"No Tool" Door and Befractor Removal-

Access door removable by swinging door
back 120', then lifting. Refractor retained in
door by a thumb latching mechanism.

Heat Control Heat dissipating fins cast
into top housing transfer transformer heat to
outside air. Other electrical components
are heat sinked to hoLrsing wall. Heat con_

life.
Alzak Aluminum Reflector-One piece re_
flector provides speculant up to 8B7o. Non-
corrosive finish keeps elficiency high,
makes cleaning easy.
Filtered Optical System Non-wicking
dacron-polyester filtering gasket traps par-
ticulates to keep efticiency high. Entire
perimeter of reilector and socket enirance
is filtered. Gasket is held jn place by a hot
melt adhesive to prevent misalignment
Using test dust with 40% of the particles
under 5 microns, the filter is 99Y, %
efficient.
Bracket Mounted Ballast-Universal type
bracket retains transformer secL.rrely against
lop of housing. Allows last, simple replace-
ment of old ballasts.
Adi ustable Socket Assembly-Features
vertical and axial adjustrnents to allow field
distribution changes. Preset for distribu-
lions noted in orderinq information. Socket
is a porcelain enclosed mogul type with
antivibration lamp grips.
Porcelain Terminal Block-Equipped with
lllsco connectors to accept up to #B gauge

Rotates up to 350' for photocell aiming.
Receptacle mounted on slipfitter to escape
heat, keep appearance clean.
H.P.S. Encapsulated Starters-Weather-

OV400 Package-lncludes the OV-15 in
400 watt Mercury, prewired with two 7' line
leads, including a photoconirol, lamp,1y4"
x 30" alumjnum pipe bracket, mounting
hardware.

Adiustable Sliplitter-Two "U" brackets I

accept 11/a" lo 2" pipe. Four mounting bolts
tightened from outside lock unit to pipe and
provide leveling adjustment. unit is leveled
by placing hand level on top of housing.
Tightening and leveling accomplished from
one point aiter the unit is wlred, lamped and
closed.

Built-!n Pipe Stop-Allows 5/2 " pipe pene-

tralion. Prevents over-insertion.
