I arrived on scene and spoke with . mows the yard for the . While was mowing the back
yard, he noticed the back patio door was open. He called and made him aware of the situation. asked him to go inside and see if
someone had been in the house and also check to see if his firearms were still there. went in and found several drawers open
throughout the house. stated he did not see the firearms asked him to check on and believed they may have been stolen.
I observed the back patio door, which had a screen door on the outside of a glass door. The glass door had black electrical tape across the
door latches. Therefore, the only thing holding it shut was a small metal slide latch on the inside. The receiver for the slide latch appeared to
be slightly pulled out of the door trim. The house was searched to make sure no one was inside. I contacted by telephone. He stated he
was on his way home, but was approximately five hours away. I told when he got home to make sure his weapons were not just
misplaced and I would contact him in the morning.
On Saturday (8/19), I made contact with who stated six handguns were missing from his residence. I met with and he stated the
slide latch was not in that condition when he was last at his residence on 07/24/17 at approximately 0530 hours. believed someone
pushed on the door just enough to make the latch come loose from the receiver. works out of state, therefore he is gone for long periods
of time. His , and , check on his residence for him and both have keys to the house.

color except the Raven Arms is silver. BPD Dispatcher, Mike Filippini, entered the stolen firearms into LEADS. The LEADS numbers are
in parenthesis after the description.

-Raven Arms-no serial number
The Springfield XD was stored in the west side end table in the living room. The H&K VP9 was stored in the table in the front entryway. All
the other weapons were stored in the main bedroom nightstand.
All serial numbers were checked on LEADS online. None were found.

hours. stated the drawers where the firearms were stolen from were not open at that time and the latch on the patio door was secure.
had not seen anyone suspicious in the area, nor knew of anyone capable of committing this crime.
stated he has a small camera on his doorbell at the front door. He stated he would review the footage and get back with me about the
content.
Photographs of the door and damage were taken and attached to this report. They were also copied onto a DVD, sealed, and placed into
standard locker 8. The list gave me with the descriptions and serial numbers for the firearms was scanned and attached to this report.

I checked the area, but I was unable to locate any security cameras. I was able to talk to the neighbor that lives directly behind the residence,
and I was informed they did not observe any suspicious activity. I have checked pawn activity, but the firearms have not been sold or pawned
