Upon receiving the pdf file what I noticed first is its cover.

For me it’s

too simple and if you look through the details, lay-out wise, it’s not clean so

I didn’t really pay attention to what the cover is trying to deliver. But, as I

read through the book, I found out that the cover speaks of the need for a

whole family to know about the dangers posed by Genetically Modified

Organisms (GMOs). The book then tries to remedy the situation by

bringing the discussions right in the classrooms. It is opined that when

children know of the issue, they become powerful advocates for GMO-Free

Philippines or – at the very least - become catalysts for their families to

boycott products that contain GMOs. If I’m not mistaken the cover was

conceptualized by a child. It’s a good thing as the author’s target readers are

also children/students.
