processes, many kinds of motor drives, traction equipment, controlled power supplies, and
many other applications.
OBJECTIVES
1. Construct and simulate half wave rectifier using PSpice under different load
conditions.
2. Examine the effects of a freewheeling diode.
3. Construct and simulate half wave controlled rectifier using different firing angles.
4. Perform a parametric sweep.
