Dear Dr. Cruz:

Good day!

I am writing to your good office in response to the complaint made by one of our co-teachers in the Senior
High department in the person of Mrs. Angelique Taguba.

She complained about the changes I have made regarding the grades of one of my advisees who is Lucky
Ace Ramirez with a Learner Reference Number (LRN) of 136891051013. The said student was
under her tutelage for the Second semester of the present school year in Media & Information
Literacy (MIL).

During the deliberation, Maam Taguba and Sir Ronel Liscano, another teacher of the said student
in 2 subjects, agreed that they would fail Ace which would make him become classified as
“Retained”. However, when I consolidated the final grades of the said student, it seemed that Sir
Liscano has passed Ace in both subjects. Attached is the copy of the final grades of the student
sent by Sir Liscano himself via Facebook messenger last March 21st for reference. Thus, Ace has
only failed one subject which is MIL under Maam Taguba.

Notwithstanding, it was my honest shortcoming as an adviser for neglecting to inform Maam

Taguba of the sudden changes about the matter as she would most likely be taking Summer classes
with the said student with the turn of the events. As a consequence, I would volunteer myself to
take the Summer classes with Ace in lieu of Mrs Taguba from April 10-May 19, for 4 hours, from
Monday to Saturday, had the student enroll for it.

Finally, I promise to become more cautious to not let any similar situation transpire again. I hope
for your favorable understanding.
