I. Present Tense Simple (Prezentul simplu)

S + vb. la forma I + s/es (pers. a III-a, singular)

III. Present Perfect Tense Simple (Prezentul Perfect)

Obs. I have seen, I have been (verbe neregulate)

IV. Present Perfect Continuous (Prezentul Perfect Continuu)

XII. First Conditional

if/unless clause + will(‘ll)/will not(won’t)
Ex.
a) If you do my shift tomorrow I’ll do yours on Friday. (Dacă faci tura mea mâine, eu o voi face
pe a ta vineri.)
b) Unless I get to bed before midnight, I won’t get up in time for work. (Dacă nu merg la culcare
înainte de miezul nopții, nu mă voi trezi la timp pentru muncă.)

XIII. Second Conditional

if/unless clause + would (‘d)/would not(wouldn’t)
Ex.
a) If I were older, I would get a part-time job. (Dacă aș fi mai mare, mi-aș lua un job cu jumătate
de normă.)
b) I wouldn’t go to a party, unless I had something new to wear. (Nu aș merge la o petrecere,
decât dacă aș avea ceva nou de îmbrăcat.)

XIV. Third Conditional

if clause + would(‘d)/might/could have
Ex.
a) If he’d worn running shoes, he wouldn’t/mightn’t have won the race. (Dacă ar fi purtat
pantofi sport, el nu ar fi câștigat cursa.)
b) If he hadn’t run barefoot, he could have lost the race. (Dacă nu ar fi alergat desculț, el ar fi
putut pierde cursa.)
