Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:

 Express mixed fractions into improper fractions;


 Match the mixed fractions into improper fractions;
 Value the importance of mixed fractions into improper fractions.

Topic: Make Mixed Fraction into Improper Fraction

Activity: “Make mixed numbers MAD.”


Match the equivalent mixed fraction into improper faction

Materials needed: Flashcards and scotch tapes.

Procedure:

1. The teacher will discuss first on how to make the mixed fractions into
improper fractions.
2. The class is divided into 5 groups with 5 members.
3. Each group has 5 different mixed fractions and improper fractions.
4. Match all the 5 mixed fractions and improper fractions.
5. The group that gets the highest score will be the winner.
