EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 Mr. Vivek Abhyankar holds 19 years of work experience in design, planning and construction of various
structures.
 He completed his post-graduation in Structural Engineering with a Gold medal from University of
Mumbai. There after he worked with HINDUSTAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY then TATA CONSULTING
ENGINEERS and AFCONS. From past one year he is working with L&T construction as a DGM Structures
in Bridge Design Department.
 He worked on many interesting construction projects like – Bandra-Worli Sea link project, Kolkata metro
rail project which is first metro line in India running below a river; RTA Dubai projects; Asia’s longest
railway bridge at Kochi; LNG Tanks at Kochi, famous ROHTANG-PASS tunnel in Himachal Pradesh; Savitri
river bridge, Mauritius LRT and many more . . .

ADDITIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

 Mr. Abhyankar is a certified Structural Engineer of Bombay municipal corporation; also a graduate
member of ICE-London and life member of many other Institutes like – ACI, ISSE, ICI, INSDAG, IIBE etc.
 He has published 20+ technical papers in national international platforms like - Indian Concrete Journal,
ISSE, Master Builder, SEWC-Singapore etc. He has contributed chapters in two famous books – Steel
Structures by Dr. N. Subramanian and book on Earthquake resistant design of RCC towers by ISSE.
 He was a visiting faculty in Prestressed Concrete and Bridge Engineering at VJTI and SP College of
engineering. And Till now has guided 9 M.Tech Thesis and more than 20 BE and AMIE projects.

Mr. Abhyankar attended all the previous Concrete shows since Yr. 2012.
