God's team. Pray a blessing for any visitors today that they would be able
to meet with a living, loving Saviour as they worship with us.
Monday 2nd Pray for our brothers and sisters in Gourock, Granton and
Grantown-on-Spey Baptist Churches. Remember Alan Donaldson, General
Director BUS. Pray for Ian, Linda, John, Lyn and Bill as they work on our
behalf and meet together tonight.
Tuesday 3rd Remember the Coffee ‘n’ Pray meeting this morning, please
come and join us if you are able. Pray for the planning application process
that we are now in. Ask God how you can best serve him with your time,
talents and possessions in the work of His kingdom in Peebles.
Wednesday 4th Pray for all meeting together for "Singing Together" at
Dovecot this afternoon. Thank God for this opportunity to visit and share
fun and fellowship with the residents there.
Thursday 5th Pray for all meeting tonight in the joint King's Meadow
Project Group. Pray for our planning application. For Lyn, Richard and
Lindsey tasked with grant applications. For each of us that God will
continue to reveal to us what our own parts are in His project and love for
the South side.
Friday 6th Pray for all the children and teaching staff we know as they
start their summer holidays. Pray for a good time of rest and relaxation to
recharge tired minds and batteries.
Saturday 7th Pray for our church trip to the coast today; for safety, fun
and fellowship for all who go along.
Sunday 8th Pray for our service today and the children as they hear of the
importance of spending time with God. Vicky's Tearoom meets this
afternoon; pray for safety and a fun time of friendship and fellowship for all
who attend.
Monday 9th Pray for Jim Purves, Mission and Ministry Advisor BUS and
all the work he is involved with. Pray for our brothers and sisters in
Greenock, Hamilton and Harestanes Baptist Churches.
Tuesday 10th Spend some time today praying for our leadership team.
Pray for Ian and his ministry both in our fellowship and in the wider
community of Peebles. Pray for John, Linda, Bill, Lyn and Ian, thanking
God for their willingness to serve; pray for energy and a real sense of
God's presence with them. Ask God to show each one of us how we can
support them and play our part, both now and in the future, in the running
of our fellowship.

Thursday 12th Pray for our nation, for those in government, who make
laws and decisions that affect everyone. For those who stand for justice, for
our police, lawyers and judges that they will conduct themselves with
integrity, fairness and truth.
Friday 13th Joshua 3:13. Confess times when fear and doubt have
stopped us as individuals and as a fellowship from stepping out in faith.
Confess times when we want to see how things will work out, have things
in place before we commit to move, forgetting that "with God all things are
possible", limiting the rich joy and growth God wants to bless us and others
with.
Saturday 14th Find a quiet place, God says to you "Be still and know that I
am God". Read Romans 8: 38-39. Meditate on these verses and pray as
you feel led.
Sunday 15th Pray for our service today and for the children as they head
to the garden to talk about the Parable of the Sower and having Faith the
size of a Mustard seed .
Monday 16th Pray for Martin Hodson, responsible for coordinating
Ministry development at BUS. Pray for our brothers and sisters at Hawick,
Helensburgh and High Blantyre Baptist churches.
Tuesday 17th Pray for our brothers and sisters in the other Peebles
churches. Thank God for deepening friendship and fellowship. Pray for all
those involved in planning and preparing for Chattabox next month and for
all the children who will go along and for their families.
Wednesday 18th Pray for Denise and those at the High School as they
look forward to running a Christian group for the students. Thank God for
this opportunity, pray God will bless and lead their programme planning, for
protection as they share the Good News Of Jesus. Pray for Ian and the
other Chaplains, as together with the team, the radical love of a loving God
will become more and more evident to all the students and staff.
Thursday 19th Join with us for the prayer evening tonight at the Drill Hall –
or if you are unable to come, pray between 7.30-9pm. We will be praying
for the Kings Meadow project, planning application, funding, bringing
everything to our loving Heavenly Father, rejoicing in His Faithfulness.
Friday 20th Pray for our mission partners today. For Victor and Caroline in
Guinea, for Barbara and all the workers in Kibera slum, and our two
building partners in Pokhara and Kathmandu, Nepal.
Saturday 21st Diversity meets this afternoon for a time of fun and
fellowship over afternoon tea. Pray for safety for those travelling up to
Eddleston.
Sunday 22nd Pray for our service today and for the children as they hear
how Jesus can take our little and use it to help many. As a fellowship we
meet together after a shared lunch to spend time praying together.
Monday 23rd Pray for Peter Dick, Finance Director BUS. Pray for our
brothers and sisters at Hillhead, Hopeman Baptist Churches and Hillview
Community Church.
Tuesday 24th Pray for all involved in our open air service and BBQ on
Sunday. Pray, as they seek God's leading, they will know His leading and
reassurance and the format of the service will come together well.
Wednesday 25th Pray for Ian as he leads the service at Dovecot this
afternoon. Pray a blessing for all who will attend.
Thursday 26th Pray for the Southside of Peebles today. Thank God that
despite our small size, we have an amazing story to share with the
community of God’s provision and love for them, and pray they will respond
to our generous loving God for themselves.
Friday 27th Psalm 145. Read this slowly, then write down what you learn
about God. Pray as you feel led.
PRAYER DIARY
Saturday 28th Pray for our service tomorrow at the garden. Pray for good
weather. Pray that God’s love would be evident to all who come along and
drop in. Pray for your neighbours and friends today asking God how you
can share His love and Good News with them.
Sunday 29th Pray for the service at the garden and BBQ, for everyone

attends or comes along for the BBQ, that Gods love would be very evident
to all.
Monday 30th Pray for Frances Bloomfield, Convenor BUS. Pray too for
our brothers and sisters meeting at Inverkeithing, Inverness and Irvine
Baptist Churches.
Tuesday 31st Pray for Ian and Lindsey, that this time of holiday will be a
refreshing, relaxing and fun time when they can "Be still and know their
Lord".
