Grade 7 – Justice Acute Angle An acute angle is an angle smaller than a right angle. Area An area is the amount of space inside a 2D shape. Circle A circle is a figure where the circumference’s points are equidistant to the center of the figure. Intersecting Lines Intersecting lines are lines that share one point. Line A line is a straight figure with no thickness that extends both sides infinitely. Line Segment A line segment is a part of a line with 2 end points. Obtuse Angle An obtuse angle is an angle more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees. Octagon An octagon is a figure with eight straight sides and eight angles. Pentagon A pentagon is a figure with five straight sides and five angles. Perimeter A perimeter is the total distance around a figure. Perpendicular Lines Perpendicular lines are lines that make a right angle. Point A point is a location with no size, length, width, and depth. Ray A ray is a part of a line which starts at a point and goes off in a particular direction to infinity. Reflex Angle A reflex angle is an angle more than 180 degrees but less than 360 degrees. Right Angle A right angle is an angle that measures 90 degrees.
