will also understand that this song is going to be related to chemistry because matter
and atoms are connected to chemistry. The first line reveals that everything in the world
is made up of atoms. Everything is matter. No matter what the substance is, everything
is a form of matter which is made up of atoms. Bonding atoms together will have a
result of forming molecules. For the line, ‘Chemical reactions make life entwine,’ I like to
believe that it means that chemical reactions will make life more exciting. For example,
you can get many different types of chemical reactions. Like, a change of state (solid,
liquid, gas) or maybe a minor explosion will happen. This is what makes chemistry so
interesting. We as humans are able to make a logical hypothesis on what will happen.
However, no one is ever 100% sure. This is where trial and error comes in. We do
experiments to test our assumptions. The final part of this song speaks about the size of
an atom and its subatomic particles. As stated, an atom is extremely minuscule and its
mass is even smaller. So, you can have an idea of how tiny an atom really is. However,
not only this song, but science states that there are particles smaller than an atom.
These are called subatomic particles, and they contain neutrons, protons, and electrons.
These three subatomic particles are what forms an atom. The protons and neutrons
remain inside the nucleus, whereas the electrons are located on the shells. Overall, this
song sings about matter, atoms, and subatomic particles. This song is all about atoms,
reactions, and chemistry. I enjoy this piece because it is short and simple, yet there was
plenty of information stored into this short song.
