As a design enthusiast, I am always in search of new tasks to grow with.


In Zurich, I initially learned to craft immersive (animation) films and games from
2015 SAE Institute Singapore – Bachelor of Arts, Interactive Animation
scratch. Longing for novel experiences, I continued my studies in Singapore in
order to enlarge upon interactive storytelling and entrepreneurial aspects of the 2014 SAE Institute Zürich – Diploma, Interactive Entertainment
creative media industry. Ever since, I am way too emotionally invested in telling
stories through art (and apparently also in green curry). Having worked in various
fields of design, from the creation of engaging graphic designs to powerful user

Sketches & studies
To make ideas tangible to others, artists must occasionally
sketch out preliminary drafts on paper. Therefore, it is important

to be familiar with the fundamentals of traditional art.

Portrayed are several sketches of varying complexity. Drawing


legs, as pictured below, is a prime example to study volumes
and proportions because they feature a series of opposing

Das Bewerberportal A company’s impact stands or falls with its graphical performance. Xeebo is no exception,
so I crafted appealing visual designs for marketing purposes, such as the banner for print
as well as the half-page advertisement. Furthermore, I composed the sequence below in

the design process in its entirety, ranging from the preliminary conception to the practical
execution.

Logo for Predator’s Tackle, 2017

Branding
The branding-centerpiece for Predator’s Tackle, a Swiss business that
sells fishing supplies. The piranha’s silhouette makes for a clean-cut,
concise, and expressive visualization on the basis of a vector graphic.

Pictured below is another example of a logo design that is simple, yet straight to
the point. It was created for an online startup company to underline their vision,
and established a stylistic guide for the company’s prospective visual voice.

3D Digital Ffischbau, 2014
These days, 3D artists are sought after in a variety of
industries, such as (animation) films, games, and

architecture – the range of use knows no limits.

In this scenario, Zurich’s famous Schiffbau (or here


Ffischbau) was remodelled. The three figures display
a real-time render, featuring a bumped texture for the
bricks and a reflective/bumped specular shader for
the windows. The background is composed of
meshes, matte paintings, and a skybox.

Organic Model, 2014
These sideviews illustrate a work in progress at
two different stages during the modelling process.
The model itself is an original creation whose
skeletal structure has been curved out with the
aim of an eerie presence.

Scroll of Destiny, 2013


As a player of the stealth game Scroll of Destiny,
you must escape a cursed island ere the sun rises.
I designed the game with special attention to the duality
of light and shade in order to convey both an uncanny and
tense mood. Depicted is an in-game render blended with the
11 underlying wireframe.

underlines the importance of an intelligible and compelling storyboard.

“Fly Away” by Neville Mark Ubing, 2016
For the recording of this music video, the black magic pocket camera was the working equipment of choice due
to its excellent options for post-production. For instance, the raw footage enables an extensive colour correction.

About the song “Fly Away”


The song is about a broken relationship, the
singer’s attached memories and his flashbacks.
The phrase “so just fly away, from my life”
reveals that the protagonist is willing to let go
of a bygone love without holding grudges.
The song blends the genres of pop/rock and
country while exhibiting catchy beats and a
memorable melody. There is a tension between
the painful back story, which is referred to in
the lyrics, and the couple’s happy past, inter-
mittently featured in the video and underlined
by upbeat chords.

Ashes to ashes, 2014
This animation film showcases the visualization of a phoenix from its
birth to its return to the ashes.
Initially, I modelled a 3D mesh of a bird. I then assembled a skeleton,
which was adjusted to meet the requirements of both the mesh and the
prospective animation. After the rigging process, the animation of the
bird was carried out. By means of this animation, together with particle
and sound effects, the phoenix was brought to life.
