 Morning flogged by the misty fog

In the windy suburb area,

In the roughly terrain road,

Pieces of papers carried by the weak wind,

Scattered,

Muttered,

Abandoned carelessly,

Recklessly

In the lonely street,

The Gold in the dust whispering to ears,

Eyes,

The worth,

Don’t call it trash,

Call it Gold in the waste,

Gold in the waste.

Every morning we wake up,

Wake up to this stench,

Scattered hope of a displesant atmosphere,

Day after day they keep growing,

Straining the precious environment,

Waste here,

Waste there,

Dangling pieces of polythene,

Plastics,
 All static in the precious environment,

Don’t call them waste,

Call them decomposing Golden manure,

Golden manure in our farms,

Growing the precious food crop,

Gold in the waste.

Gold in the dust keeps vibrating,

Waste for mine echoing for the decaying

Dying environment,

Can’t we listen to this Gold in the waste?

Can’t we be responsible?

And listen to this plight,

This Gold in the dust for a durable

Sustainable and proper waste disposal,

Don’t call them waste,

Call them Gold in the waste

Gold for wealth,

Gold for health,

Gold in the waste.

Gold in the waste is smiling,

Waste for mine is the gold in the waste we pursue,

This garbage is the bondage we echo,

Proper disposal we advocate,

Advocacy for you and me to come aboard,

 Listen to this gold in the waste,

Proper waste management,

Reuse,

Recycle,

Use the golden bottles for fencing,

Use the plastic cans for drip irrigation,

Broken bottles for fencing,

Security in our school,

Call them Gold in the Waste

For us to dine,

To drink the wine,

Gold in the waste.

The gold in the waste will not sing a dirge,

In the good roads we shall trudge,

In the precious atmosphere we urge,

Environment flourishing,

Blooming for a better tomorrow,

Don’t call them waste,

Don’t call it cow dung,

Animal droppings,

They are gold in the waste,

Biogas in school we use

For cooking,

Employment created,

Economy grown,
 Nurtured,

Captured,

For a country to smile

For this Gold in the waste

Is no longer rusty,

Gold in the waste.
