CERTIFICATION

This Industrial training report presents the experience garnered during my 4 months of
industrial training undertaken at DOTS ICT, Ake Abeokuta. My training was on the software
development using PHP (hypertext preprocessor). During this period, I acquired practical
knowledge on web-based application development using PHP. This report discusses the
technical skills gained during the training period and justifying the relevance of the scheme in
equipping students with needed technical competence to thrive in the real world.

This report is dedicated to the Almighty God for sustaining me during my Student Industrial
Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) and who also made the training a successful one.

I also dedicate this report to my lovely parent MR. AND MRS. YAKUBU for their full support
during the program and most especially the department of Computer Science.

My appreciation first goes to God almighty, who inspire me to choose computer science as my
discipline, for granting me the grace and privilege to be able to complete this SIWES program
successfully. And finally for making this report a successful one.
A big appreciation to my parent MR. AND MRS. YAKUBU for being there for me through
my Student Industrial Work Scheme (SIWES). I will like to thank the Industrial Training Fund
for their foresight in putting this program to place and also to the Computer Science department,
Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, for providing the platform on which I was engaged in the training.
I want to say a big thank you to my industrial based supervisor, Mr. Ajamu Mayowa and all
the technician/instructors in my unit who helped with thorough supervision, solutions to my
numerous questions and useful advice which helped and also contributed to the success of the
SIWES program. I also appreciate all my friends who stood by during my SIWES attachment.
