INTERNATIONAL NEWS…
Beam Me Up Scotty by DYAN GREGGS
I sat back and relaxed on my hour and fifty minute flight from Jakarta,
Indonesia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My anticipation of joining space-
traveling zealots and sci-fi enthusiast grew as I held the picture of the
capsule at the marvelous iO HOTEL. Almost as giddy as a school-age
child, I rounded the corner to the hotel, just minutes from the heart of it
all. The town was fabulous with lights that shimmered and enticing signs
that lured the adventurous traveler. But the illumination that would soon
captivate me would shine inside of this thing, contraption, invention,
yes… this capsule that would house me for three full days. I climbed the
stairs of my capsule…
Owners of iO HOTEL, along with DYAN GREGGS, give thumbs up for the GOOD
NEWSpaper, Northside Vibes. Thanks to all—and Dyan for sharing with our
readers how “affordable” traveling to another country can be! $11 per day!
