XK3119P-3 Large LCD Weighing Indicator Setup

1. Setup (this setup only adapt to weighing apparatus manufacturer & weighing apparatus
distributors)
I Before calibration, open up the crust and set the short circuit to the “ON” position on the circuit
board. Otherwise, following operation can be processed. (User is strictly prohibited to open all
the lead sealed weighing indicator in use on his own.)
II Press TARE button and hold for 1.5 seconds, then press MODE button when the indicator
shows CALSP.
III When it shows –SET-, it indicate the setup manual, then press key ACC PRINT to enter the
menu.
IV When it shows “d1 0.01”, it indicates the division of the scale is 0.01kg, the range of the
divisions is 0.0001-50, you can press PRINT button to select the suitable division circularly. “d1”
shows single division, if double division auto conversion is required, then press ACC PRINT, it
shows “d2 0.02”, and it indicate the division is 0.02kg, range is 0.0001-50, “d2” indicate double
divisions, you can press PRINT to circularly select the suitable division and press MODE to
confirm.
V It indicates that the number of divisions is 6000 when indicator shows “n 6000”, if there is no
change, press MODE button.
If you need to change the number of divisions (eg: division n=7500, when the no. of division turn
to “n”, the point should be neglected), then select the bit by pressing ACC PRINT button, the
selected bit glitter, the bit will right forward and glitter each time by pressing ACC PRINT button,
the sparkling bit rise circularly from 1 -9 by pressing PRINT button. digit will increase one bit
each time by pressing PRINT. Repeat pressing ACC PRINT & PRINT button to make it shows “n
07500”, then press MODE to confirm.
VI It indicates the boot-strap parameter and weighing unit setup when it shows “Ut ABCD”. “A”
indicate boot-strap zero range, 1-9 corresponds 10-90%FS, 0 boot-strap without zero; and “B”
indicate zero point zero range, 1-9 correspond (1-9) X0.3d, 0 point do not trace. “D” indicates the
basic unit, “C” indicate the second weighing unit. 0: kg, 1: lb, 2: oz, 3: ct.
To press PRINT to select the basic unit, press ACC PRINT to select second weighing unit, press
MODE to confirm. (Remark: Only when the basic unit is KG, the second weighing unit is LB, you
can switch and indicate the 2 units, When the selected unit is LB, OZ, or CT, it is only applied for
the countries or areas which allow to use the above units.
VIII showing “Ads XX” show indicates the parameter setup of the serial print port (indicator
D-SUB-9):
A, When “XX=00” is set, indicating that the indicator output data automatically, which is the
same with the original XK3119L. press ACC PRINT to select the bit, press PRINT to select
suitable number 00 circularly, then press MODE to confirm.
B, When “XX=1~98” is set, indicating the output data by responding mode.
C, When “XX=99” is set, indicating non data export, unless PRINT and ACC PRINT button is
pressed, at that time the connected printer can print out the current weight. (eg: uP-T micro
printer).
IX “bAn 0” shows background lighting setup: “1” indicates background lighting automatically, it
light automatically when there is weight on, and it slake automatically when weight turn zero;
“0” indicates manual background lighting, press MODE button for 1.5 seconds, and it turns on or
off.
X After all the setting is done, put the short circuit on the “OFF” position.

Attention: If the max weight ,division or number of division is changed, re-calibration is necessary.

3. Calibration.
I Before calibration, open up the crust and set the short circuit to the “ON” position on the circuit
board. Otherwise, the following operation can be processed:
II Press TARE button and hold for 1.5 seconds, then press ACC PRINT to enter the calibration mode
when the indicator shows CALSP.
III It indicates zero setting when showing “CAL 00”, after confirming no weight on the scale, and
press MODE button to enter into zero automatic calibration, it then shows “-------------“, after
several second, last calibrated weight is shown, for example: 150.00kg.
IV At that time, you can load the counterweight, for example, the loaded counterweight is 20kg, after
weighting is stable and press ACC PRINT to select bit, press PRINT to select suitable digit “20.00”
circularly, at last , press MODE to confirm.
V It indicates the indicator comes into counterweight calculating state when it automatically shows
“----------”.
VI The indicated value and standard counterweight is consistent, it shows “20.00kg”, otherwise,
recalibrate again.
VII Unload 20kg counterweight, it shows “0.00kg” again, the weightless symbol “→0←” lights.
VIII After calibration is finished, put the short circuit to the “OFF” position, indicator is back to
weighing mode again.
