DATE : January 11, 2016
1. Please be informed that personnel from this Office issued six (6) units
handheld radio on January 9, 2016 to Tuguegarao City Police Station for police
checkpoints that were set up nationwide as the Commission on Elections (COMELEC)
gun ban, which signals the start of the election period for the 2016 Local and National
Elections started at 12:01 AM Sunday, January 10, 2016. See attached pictorials taken
during the said activity.

Checkpoint caravan were oversee and supervised by the Acting Regional Director, CSUPT
RANIER Q IDIO, Atty. EDERLINO U TABILAS, Regional Director, COMELEC, LT COL JOSE
ARN REAL, BC, 17th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army, PD, Cagayan PPO, PSSUPT
RONALDO E OLAY and other COMELEC representatives.
PNP checkpoint will abide by the guidelines

issued by the COMELEC to ensure the effective
implementation of the gun ban which will remain
in effect for the whole duration of the election.
RCEO2 personnel issued six (6) units of

handheld radio to personnel of
Tuguegarao City Police Station to be used
for COMELEC checkpoint.

SUBJECT : Kick-off Ceremony
DATE : January 13 , 2016
1. Please be informed that personnel from this Office issued four (4) units of
handheld radio on January 11, 2016 to Tuguegarao City Police Station in preparation of
Kick-off Ceremony for Secure and Fair Election (SAFE) 2016 attended by the different
line agencies and other academes. The activity started with the Peace Walk followed by
Candle Lighting, Releasing of white balloons and Covenant Signing held at Rizal's
Park,Tuguguegarao City on January 12,2016.

1. Reference: Memo from Acting Regional Director, PRO2 with subject Visit
of HON. MEL SENEN SARMIENTO, Secretary of the Interior and Local Government.
2. In connection with the above reference, personnel from this Office issued
ten (10) units of handheld radio on February 16, 2016 to Tuguegarao City Police station
for the communication coverage in the preparation on the visit of HON. MEL SENEN
SARMIENTO, Secretary of the Interior and Local Government held on February 17,
2016 at Tuguegarao City Airport. Likewise, Sec. Sarmiento and the group paid respect
to the six gallant personnel who were Killed in Police Operations. Their bodies now lie in
state at Ortiz Funeral Homes, Tuguegarao City. See attached photos.

Government, at Tuguegarao City Airport and assisted by The Deputy Chief PNP for

PCSUPT RANIER Q IDIO, Command Group and Staff led the Awarding of Medalya ng
Sugatang Magiting and giving of Financial Assistance to PNP personnel who were
Wounded in Police Operations during a bloody clash in Baggao, Cagayan on February
16, 2016.
