Writing a message about your trip
When you write an email to a friend about a trip, you can use the following structure:

• Start your message:


Dear David Hi there!

• Say where you are:


I'm writing you from . . .

• Say if you are enjoying our stay:


I'm having a (great) time here . . .

• Describe the place, food, or weather:


The weather is terrible, but . . .
It's miles from (another town).

• Say something you did:


I went out on a fishing boat yesterday and . . .

• Attach a photo and describe it:


I'm attaching a photo of me on the boat . . .

• Say something you are going to do:


Tomorrow I'm going to go hiking . . .

• End your message:
