Five movements: I-Prélude (D); II-Vespérale (D); III-Fanfare (D); IV- Cadence (D); V-Toccata (W). Composition: 1940. No. I was first performed in London (Wigmore Hall) on 15 June 1947 by the composer; the first complete performance was given by Massimo Bogianckino in Paris, on 12 June 1948, in the framework of a concert by the Groupe ‘Zodiaque’.

Choreographic suite for small orchestra inspired by an episode from Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. Composition: spring 1940.
