Application Procedure:
You may submit your application at any time during the year. An admission decision is normally
made within two weeks of receipt of all application documents. Freshmen students can begin
their studies either the Fall 1 term (August), Fall 2 term (October), Spring 1 term (January),
Spring 2 term (March), Summer term (June) at the Cha-Am/Hua Hin campus and Bangkok
Academic Center. For prospective students who need a student visa, we recommend completing
your application at least four weeks before your desired enrollment date.

Required Documents:
For high-school graduates who have not attended any post-secondary institution / university,
please submit the following application documents:
  Application completed online (to waive the 35 USD application fee, use "thai" code when
submitting application).
 Certified secondary school (high school) transcripts.
 Literal English translations of high school diploma and transcripts (if they are not in
English). Translations must be official: certified by an accredited translator or notarized
by a competent legal authority. We do not accept photocopies of translations.
 English proficiency results from either a TOEFL or IELTS test (for Non-Native Speakers
of English).
 Please write a 300-500 word essay that demonstrates your motivation, commitment and
readiness for university life.
 Two academic letters of recommendation.
 Photocopy of passport biographical page.
Note: Additional documentation might be requested by the Admissions Committee. All
application documents submitted to Webster University become the property of the university
and cannot be returned or reproduced. Keep a copy of all documents submitted.

Evaluation of your application

Each application is reviewed by the Admissions Committee. We look for evidence of your
potential to be successful at Webster University. Primary consideration is given to your academic
performance, the rigor and content of your coursework, your documented English language
proficiency, your motivation, commitment and readiness for university life, as demonstrated in
your application essay and discussed in your academic recommendations.

Admissions Requirements
You may apply before you receive the diploma, but your admission status will be contingent
upon completing your secondary education successfully.

 The minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4 point scale, or its equivalent.
Academic achievement in programs that use a different assessment scale is evaluated in
the context of the relevant academic system.
 Applicants with grade-point average of less than 2.5 are eligible for conditional
admission consideration.
 To receive full admission in the undergraduate program, students should have an English
proficiency score of TOEFL Paper: 550 or TOEFL iBT 80 or an IELTS Academic 6.0 or
PTE Academic 53, but we can accept student for the undergraduate level with ESL
program with a minimum score of TOEFL Paper: 400 or TOEFL iBT 32 or an IELTS
Academic 4.5 or PTE Academic 29.
  Students whose English language proficiency test scores do not meet the minimum
requirement will be assigned to an English as a Second Language (ESL) course as per
ESL policy.

Scholarships:
Webster University Thailand is committed to recognizing effort and excellence in learning
through its Academic Scholarship program awarded each year to newly enrolled students. A
number of scholarships support academic performance through financial aid to motivated as well
as gifted students.
Full-time graduate students, accepted onto courses at Webster University Thailand, qualify for
scholarship status. To develop student learning, merit-based scholarships are focused on
financial aid for tuition fees. Awards are directed to reducing these course costs, with funds
exclusively transferred for this purpose. To be considered for Webster University Thailand
Entrance Scholarship complete and submit scholarship application form.

English Proficiency:
To study at this university, you must have English proficiency recognized by IELTS or similar
certificate.
