3.9、Assembling central seat, oil pump and Brake C assembly.

Install oil pump worm wheel and pump wheel into

pump shell with the mark facing up.

Tamp two studs 22 040 into central seat 22

030 with a plastic hammer.

Install hydraulic valve as shown on figure.

Install hydraulic valve body into central seat,
and then install valve cap 22 064.

Install spring 22 060 into central seat gap.

Assemble the central seat and pump body.

Connect central seat and pump body with six

bolts, and tighten bolts.
Tool: 27# socket spanner
Torque: 10Nm

Check hydraulic valve operating condition.

Install two snap rings 22 100 and 22 110 into

the central seat hub, and make the snap rings
joints interlocked.

Install O-ring 31 052 into central ring after

lubricating.

Press central ring into the central seat, and then

fix with snap ring 31 060.

Install O-rings 31 030 and 31 040 onto piston

C 31 020 after lubricating, and then install
piston C onto the central seat.

Install pressure ring 31 066 with convex

surface facing up.

Install diaphragm spring 31 070 and retainer ring 31 080.

Press clutch C diaphragm down with special tool, and install snap ring 31 090.

Install outer retainer ring 31 100 first, and then install friction plate 31 110 and retainer ring alternately.

Fix clutch C assembly with snap ring 31 130.

Install retainer ring 31 174 onto the safety ring

of 2nd gear one-way overrun clutch.

Install adjusting washer 22 090 and thrust

washer 22 080.

NOTE:
Washer thickness must be determined as
described in section 1.4.4, page 5/10.

Install whole central seat and pump body

into housing, and fix with 7 bolts and then
tighten bolts.
Tool: 27# socket spanner
Torque: 10Nm

3.10 Assembling differential and

differential housing

Install side shaft gears with both gears center

facing each other.

NOTE:
If the centers of the gears are not aligned, they
are not in the same line with the central hole of
the differential, and the side shaft cannot be
installed.

Install bearing inner racer 09 120 into the

differential case with sleeve 5×46 000 300.

Install differential assembly 09 110 into the

housing.

Install guide pin 01 230.

Lubricate and then install gasket 22 140 .

Install oil seal 22 130 into the converter

housing 22 010 with the socket 5×46 000 111.

Press bearing outer racer 09 120 with socket

5×46 000 298. If necessary, replace sealing
ring 22 170 with new one.

Tighten locking bolt 22 180.

Tool: 5# socket spanner
Torque: 15Nm

Install converter housing and fix with 16

hex bolts 22 160 and 1 hex bolt 22 164.
Tool: 13# socket spanner
Torque: 23 Nm

3.11、Assembling speedometer drive gear case and speedometer assembly.

Press oil sealing 09 150 / 020 onto

speedometer drive gear case 90 150 with
socket 5 x 46 000 180.

Sleeve one O-ring 08 040 on the

speedometer sensing rotor carrier 08 030.
Insert the speedometer driven gear 08 020
into the carrier inner hole.

Install carrier assembly into speedometer

drive gear case, and fix with the mounting
bolt 08 050.
Tool: 11# socket spanner
Torque: 10Nm

Lubricate and then install O-ring 09 160 into

speedometer drive gear case.

Before installing speedometer drive gear case,

select adjusting washer. Determine adjusting
washer thickness as described in section 1.4.5,
page 5/12.

Install speedometer drive gear 08 010.

Install speedometer drive gear case, and

fix it on converter case with two
mounting bolts 09 180 and one mounting
bolt 09 190.
Tool: 13# socket spanner
Torque: 23Nm

3.12、Assembling control valve plate and converter

Before installing the control valve plate, adjust

the band brake C’ as described in section 1.3.6,
page 16.

Put shift shaft in position 1.

Ensure parking plunger is well installed

between the pawl and the brake rotor.

Install the throttle valve body cable, avoiding

any intervention between throttle valve piston
and accelerating cam.

Install manual valve on control valve plate as

shown in figure.

Set manual valve in position 1.

Install control valve plate assembly onto

housing.
Ensure manual valve and throttle valve level
are in right positions.

Control valve mounting bolts are as follows:

Tighten all connecting blots on control valve
plate.
Tool: 27# socket spanner
Torque: Nm

Attach a magnet 01 100 to the oil pan 01 060.

After lubricating gasket 01 050, install it on housing.

Install oil pan, and fix with 13 bolts.
Tool: 27# socket spanner
Torque: 10Nm

Install sealing cap 01 200 drain plug 01 210.

Tool: 27 # socket spanner
Torque: 20 Nm

Install the hydraulic converter with the

installing handle 22 020.
Ensure converter seated well.
