Duties & Responsibilites as a QC Inspector-Multi Discipline:

 Deftly handled projects with respect to various quality standards such as

ASME Code Stamp-U, and EN10204:3.2, etc.
 Prepare Request for inspection (RFI) to TPI agencies /client & coordinating
with Third Party Inspectors from agencies like DNVGL, TUV, ABS and Client
Inspectors.
 Inspection of incoming raw material with stringent adherence to quality
standard, Purchase order, Technical Delivery condition, Project Specification
and Code. Review of mill test certificate (MTC) as per code and client
requirement.
 Preparation and approval of Inspection Test Plan & Procedures according to
client’s requirements and code.
 Responsible for inspection of pipe spools fabrication Such as Steel
Preparation, fit up,welding Monitoring, Visual & final Dimensional inspection to
conform the drawing
 Carry out inspection activities like dished end, shell inspection, stage wise
inspection, final dimension as per approved ITP, drawing & inspection
procedures/standards.
 Preparing stage wise inspection reports and final inspections documents at all
identified stages of production and get reviewed by TPIA.
 Verify the loading/un-loading temperature, Heating/cooling rate, soaking
temperature & time during various heat treatments like PWHT, Normalizing,
 and Stress relieving. Also review of chart for these heat treatments and
prepare documents for the TPIA/Client review.
 Witnessed Hydrostatic Test, Pneumatic Test, and Vacuum Testing & Preparation of
related Documents. (For various Equipments & piping Spools). Witness various
Non destructive examinations & interpretation of results of various NDE methods
mainly LPT, RT & MPT.
 Continues monitoring of welding activities to censure implementation of WPS
during fabrication, & visual inspection of welds after complete welding to ensure

Duties & Responsibility

 Preparation of ITP, WPS and other Quality related procedure as per

project quality requirement.

 Review and witness NDE procedure and NDE activities compliance to ASME
Sec V, API 650, ASME sec VIII and Project specifications.
  Coordinate with the Client team in procedure review and site inspection activity.

 Associated with inspection activities on Process piping and Static Equipment in the
complex to assure their mechanical system integrity and reliability.

 Internal, On-stream and External inspection of piping/static equipment with

relevant API/ASME codes and standards.

 Supervising the job with NDE examiners/TML (Thickness monitoring) technicians

and preparing the report.

 Determining expected damage mechanism on different material to rule out the

possible material degradation with past inspection and process/operation histories.

 Perform inspection activities nondestructive testing, repair and retirement

thickness calculations, corrosion rate calculation, remaining life calculations for
Pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, Piping and other plant equipment’s.

Project : Jump over between HMT & TFP pipelines at KM-42
  Inspection of pipeline, spools during fabrication and erection as per approved
isometric drawings.

 Visual inspection of flanges, gaskets, and bolts, prior to installation.

 Line check prior to hydro test, to verify the entire work in the test limits has been
completed as per isometric and project quality control procedures
/specifications /standards.

 Inspection of valve, type of valves, direction of valve installed, valve handles

orientation, valve tag number, flange rating & size, valves operation and
maintenance access.

 Review hydro test package to ensure that the NDT summary, weld summary, weld
map, support drawing, valve list, approved drawing duly marked the test limits, P
&Id marked with test boundaries, check list, and all the related documents are
attached in the test package as per the project requirements.

 Monitor and ensures that all welding activities are carried out according to the
approved procedures and compliance to welding codes.

 Package review and monitor the test package is in accordance with the approved
