Every
individual is taught about the importance of a family since their childhood
days.
There are two types of family systems – joint family and nuclear family
systems. Joint family is a type of extended family, which consists of
parents, their children, spouses of the children and their offspring in one
household. A nuclear family is composed of parents and their children.
Joint Family
Nuclear family
2. Bonding – Nuclear family is based upon the parental love and sibling
connection. The mechanism of relationships in a nuclear family is very
straight forward. It is based on the foundation of mutual respect and love
for each other.
Conclusion
Both the joint and nuclear families have their own pros and cons. India is a
country which is known for its cultural diversity and thus, joint family
system is still prevalent in many parts of the country.
But with the increase in urbanization, nuclear families are taking over the
joint family systems. When compared to joint family, nuclear families many
a times feel better. They provide a peace and calm environment at home
as there are very few quarrels. Every individual after coming from work
requires a peaceful atmosphere at home. As they say - “small family, happy
family.”
Intelligence or Hard work? This is like asking, "Which is more important, having a car
or having a map?" Yes, you are right, one needs both to succeed. But what if you were
asked to choose one? Again, intelligence or hard work? A person with limited aptitude
but zeal to work hard can make up for the limited intelligence, but an extra-ordinarily
intelligent individual cannot make up for lack of hard work. A fast thinker, naturally, is
like a sprint racer, he may succeed in small tasks, but to achieve a bigger target, a
person has to develop skills like hard work, perseverance, and zeal to succeed, just
like a marathon runner.
In a class, brightest of minds may not score the best marks in a given test but those
who work hard and prepare sufficiently for their tests often score high, as they are
able to supplement the lack of intelligence with a sheer will to work hard.
“You might be faster than me, you might be better looking than me, you might be more talented than me,
you might beat me in 9 out of 10 categories. But if we get on the treadmill together, there’s two things that
can happen: You either get off first or I’m gonna die.”.................................end
Television nicknamed by the Americans as 'idiot box'; is one of the most revolutionary inventions of the twentieth century.
Its vast potentialities as a powerful medium of mass communication cannot be underestimated. It is, indeed, the last world in
entertainment and enlightenment. It can enlighten our illiterate and ignorant masses; it can widen their mental horizon and
help them to rise above communalism, racialism, regionalism etc; it can promote international understanding; and it can
generate a healthy climate for peaceful co-existence. But in the hands of incompetent people, it can damage public morals, it
can breed religious fanaticism; and it can vitiate international atmosphere and even precipitate a war.
Television Television is an electronic media which also serves as an integral part of electronic media. It has both positive and
negative effects. It is also a teaching tool for young children learning right from wrong.
Tremendous Advantages of Television There are channels like National Geographic Channel, History Channel
and Discovery Channel which not only helps children but also helps adults

Artificial intelligence- this is a term which has overpowered human beings completely these days. Today,
every little activity is done by “artificial intelligence” or in simple words, ‘computers’. This overpowering of
computers over human brain has triggered a debate everywhere that “will man ever be replaced by
machines?” The answer to this question would be ‘NO’.
We live in an era, where technology plays a major role in our lives. There have been many inventions in
the past years and computers are considered to be one of the greatest inventions of human beings. But
they can never be replaced by human beings. Man has created machines to come out of the endless toil
and drudgery. One thing which machines can never have is human beings’ ‘ability to think’. Computers
have the ‘derived content’ while humans have the ‘original content’. They can never replace man.
Although machines perform tasks much faster and efficiently than human beings yet there are many areas
where we need humility, civility and passion to take a decision. Only humans can do so. Machines can
never be as wise as human beings. It is humans who put intelligence in machines to perform tasks
efficiently. It is humans who make machines do their work. Human beings can start and stop machines
whenever they want. Machines are in complete control of a man. In other words, Man is the creator, the
God for computers.
In the conclusion, it is clear that artificial intelligence can never replace human beings. Man serves as God
for machines. Machines are in complete control of human beings. Moreover, machines can never compete
the intelligence of human beings when it comes to thinking as machines have ‘derived content’ and not
‘original content’.

Newspapers have a long and storied history that dates back hundreds of years. (You can
read about that history here.) And while their roots are in the 1600s, newspapers thrived
in the U.S. well into the 20th century.
But with the advent of radio and later TV, newspaper circulation (the number of copies
sold) began a gradual but steady decline. By the mid-20th century, people simply didn’t
have to rely on newspapers as their only source of news anymore. That was especially
true of breaking news, which could be conveyed much more quickly via broadcast media.
Television's arrival in the 1950s began the decline of newspapers as most people's source of daily news.
But the explosion of the Internet in the 1990s increased the range of media choices available to the
average reader while further cutting into newspapers' dominance as the source of news. Both television
and the Internet bring news to the consumer faster and in a more visual style than newspapers, which are
constrained by their physical format and their physical manufacturing and distribution. Competing mediums
also offer advertisers moving images and sound.
And as television newscasts became more sophisticated, TV became the dominant mass
medium
With the emergence of the internet in the 1990s, vast amounts of information were
suddenly free for the taking. Most newspapers, not wanting to be left behind the times,
started websites in which they essentially gave away their most valuable commodity –
their content - for free. This model continues to be the predominant one in use today.
