SUGGESTIONS TO PARENTS:

1. Parents must encourage their wards to inculcate the habit of reading the newspaper daily.
2. They should also encourage them to read books for example (Hardy Boys, Series of Harry
Potter, David Copperfield etc.)
3. Parents should encourage their wards to write book reviews of the books that they read.
4. Parents should try to converse in English with their wards.

A FEW GUIDELINES FOR GK ASSESSMENT

a. GK examination will be held only for Pre mid Term and Post mid Term.
b. Maximum marks for this paper will be 40 and duration 1 hour.
c. The question paper of GK will not be in the form of a worksheet.
d. It will have the following break-up:
 Mental Maths & Logical Reasoning -10 questions each carrying 1 mark.
 Current affairs-10 questions each carrying ½ mark.
 General Awareness (Text Book)-20 questions each carrying ½ marks.
 OTBA (Open Text Based Assessment) from Safety Workbook - 2 question carrying 10
marks will be based on paragraph provided in the question paper. The question will be
