Entrance

(Clerk of court): “All rise. The Court is now in session. The Honorable Judge Caridad
Cuerdo presiding.”

*Judges enter and goes to table.*

2. Prayer

Clerk of court: “Almighty God, we stand in Your Holy Presence as our Supreme Judge.
We humbly beseech You to bless and inspire us so that what we think, say, and do will
be in accordance with Your will. Enlighten our minds, strengthen our spirit, and fill our
hearts with fraternal love, wisdom, and understanding, so that we can be effective chan-
nels of truth, justice, and peace. In our proceedings today, guide us in the path of right-
eousness for the fulfillment of Your greater glory. Amen.”

*Presiding judge hits gavel (twice). Everyone sits.*

3. Calling the case:

Clerk of Court: “Calling on the case of Luna Bonifacio vs. Antonio Bonifacio civil case
Case No. 16-1234.”

4. Appearances

The Court (referring to the Presiding Judge): “Appearances.”

Prosecutor: “Good afternoon, your Honor. Atty. Marieflor Battung ,appearing as counsel
for the plaintiff.

Defense: “Good afternoon. Atty. Jeff coronado appearing as counsel for the defendant,
Your Honor.”

5. Pre-trial

Plaintiff counsel: Will the counsel of the defendant admit that the plaintiff and defendant
are married?

to Juana?

Stipulation of facts from the defense:

Defense: Do you admit that before the Defendant married the Plaintiff, he was already
separated with Juana in relation to the divorce decree issued in california?

6. Marking of exhibits:

Plaintiff counsel: I have here with me, your honor, object evidence which i move to be
marked as exhibits A-C. Your honor we pray for the Marriage Certificate of the Plaintiff to
Defendant Antonio Bonifacio be marked as Exhibit A;

Judge: Mark it.

Plaintiff counsel: We pray for the Marriage Certificate of the Defendant Antonio Bonifacio
to Juana Bonifacio be marked as exhibit B;
