2. Check the Received In-Lab box and click the OK button.

SEARCH CRITERIA
• Additional choices are available for pending procedures.

• All Pending
Select All Pending if you want to retrieve all pending orders for the selected test site and
procedure. This is equivalent to leaving the Received Only button un-checked in the current
system. It will display all pending procedures.
• Received Only
Select Received Only if you want to retrieve all pending orders for the selected test site and
procedure that have a specimen container currently logged into the in-lab location for the test
site. This is equivalent to checking the Received Only button in the current system. It will
display any procedures with an In-Lab status.
• In-Lab Only
Select In-lab Only if you want to retrieve all procedures that are at an In-Lab status but may not
be at their final Received Location. This is new functionality.
Example for In-Lab Only (new system): A sample routes to CHM BX (REC BG). It is brought to
an In-Lab status via Specimen Log-In. It is then transferred to CHM FX via Pending
Inquiry/Transfer therefore giving it a new final Received Location of CHM FX (REC FL). It now
drops off the Pending Inquiry when the Received Only button is checked. It is then logged in to
the new location (REC FL). It now is displayed on the Pending Inquiry when the Received Only
button is checked.

BATCH RESULT VERIFY

Batch Result Verify allows you to verify multiple General Lab results at the same time. In Worklist
mode, you can select a saved worklist and verify all performed results that are associated with
accession numbers on that worklist.
Some results may not be eligible to be verified in Batch Result Verify. Therefore, you cannot select
those accession number rows. Some reasons you may not be able to verify the result include:
• All results for the accession number already have been completed (verified).
• One or more results for the accession number have failed QC results.
• One or more results for the accession number have performed repeated results.
• One or more results for the accession number require a comment that has not been
entered.
• You have selected to view the accession number or worklist in Accession Result Entry as
opened from Batch Result Verify. The result value may have changed, preventing you
from verifying the result.
If you correct any of these issues, such as entering required comments or closing the accession number
in Accession Result Entry, you may be able to refresh the worklist and verify these results.
You also are able to perform a variety of other activities as described below:
• Enter or edit a result by branching to Accession Result Entry.
• View or edit comments associated with an accession number.
• Display detailed patient demographic information.
• View previous results for a procedure.
• View details about a selected container by branching to Container Inquiry.
• View details and results for the person associated with a particular accession number by
branching to Order Result Viewer.
• View a list of incomplete procedures by branching to Pending Inquiry.
