1. As a World Vision Malaysia volunteer, I undertake to:

• Represent World Vision Malaysia with professionalism, dignity, integrity, honesty

and humility.

• Be focused, follow through and complete assigned tasks within the given time frame.

• Be a team player by working in harmony and unison with other members of the
team and World Vision Malaysia in carrying out my duties.

• Conduct myself responsibly and courteously, being fully aware of, and sensitive to,
those of different religion, beliefs, race, ethnicity and gender.

• Dress sensibly and appropriately while I am on duty as a World Vision volunteer.

• Respect the privacy of persons served by the organization and hold in confidence
sensitive, private and personal information.

• Accept full responsibility and take the necessary precaution for my own safety while
travelling to and from the place of duty.

• Understand that World Vision Malaysia will consider the safety of myself the top
priority, and provide necessary assistance in the event I suffer any kind of injury,
theft, illness, accident, or unexpected misfortune when I’m on duty at an event or in
the office. However I consent that World Vision Malaysia is not responsible to insure
me for death or physical impediment due to an accident and/or for any types of
negotiation of ransom in case of abduction.
 • Refrain from expressing my personal opinions and actions on any political, social
and/or economic issues while on duty
