impact, including the chemistry of geopolymerization of fly ash,
mixture proportioning of concretes containing fly ash alone as the

16 SP-299: FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE FOR SUSTAINABLE The topics of the papers cover sustainability aspects of using fiber
STRUCTURES reinforced concrete ranging from durability and interface mechanisms
of natural fiber reinforced concrete (FRC), evaluation of eco-
mechanical performance of FRC, reducing carbon dioxide emissions of
concrete, as well as applications of fiber reinforcement for self-

elements, slab systems and fabric-reinforced cementitious matrix

SUPERPLASTICIZERS AND OTHER CHEMICAL ADMIXTURES IN Chemical Admixtures in Concrete in Ottawa, Canada. More than 60
CONCRETE papers from the world over were peer reviewed, and 28 were accepted
for publication in the proceedings of the conference. The proceedings
were published by ACI as SP-302. Also, additional papers were
presented at the conference that were published in the Supplementary
Papers Volume.

published by the ACI as SP-303.

21 SP-304: SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE OF CONC BRIDGES New construction consumes considerable amounts of energy and

32 SP-320:10TH ACI/RILEM INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON The purpose of this international conference is to present the latest
CEMENTITIOUS MATERIALS AND ALTERNATIVE BINDERS FOR scientific and technical information in the field of supplementary
SUSTAINABLE CONCRETE cementitious materials and novel binders for use in concrete. The new
aspect of this conference is to highlight advances in the field of
alternative and sustainable binders and supplementary cementitious
materials, which are receiving increasing attention from the research
community. The conference was held in Montréal, Canada from
October 2 to 4, 2017. The conference proceedings, containing 50
refereed papers from more than 33 countries, were published as ACI
SP-320.

33 SP-321: RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN TWO-WAY SLABS: The presentation topics included new design and construction
DESIGN, ANALYSIS, CONSTRUCTION, AND EVALUATION methods in two-way slab systems; innovative reinforcement methods
for punching shear prevention; practical design and analysis
experiences in recent projects of complex geometries; showcases on
serviceability and maintenance issues encountered in RC or PT slabs;
experimental tests and/or numerical modeling against extreme
hazards, such as earthquake, fire, blast, and progressive collapse; and
nondestructive evaluation techniques for in-place two-way slabs.
