In this game, students have to guess the victim of the crime by using speaking, listening, deductive affirmative statements in past continuous describing who was activity murdered, where and doing what.
Language Focus Procedure: 1. There will be three sets of 10 cards each. (Characters, Places Past Continuous / Past Simple and activities) 2. Each set of cards will be Affirmative and Negative shuffled. Statements 3. One card will be picked from each set and will be put in an envelope so none of the players Aim can see them. 4. Each student will have one card from each set. To make affirmative and negative 5. Students will start making sentences using the Past suppositions one by one about the murdered person, where was Continuous tense. he/ she and what was he/she doing when he/she was murdered. Preparation 6. If any of the players has either the character, place or Prepare cards with different activity that has been mentioned, they should show characters, places and activities. that card only to the player who made the affirmation. Level 7. The next student to the right will now make his/her supposition B1 (+12) and so on. 8. They will start making by Time discarding the characters, places and activities they are shown 20 - 30 minutes until one of them figures out the correct answer. 9. The winner is the one who guesses which character, place and activity are in the envelope. Characters:
