Introduction

Babylon Garments Ltd. The very first concern of the group comes into
operation in July 1986. Babylon launched her first garments manufacturing
unit with a modest capacity of about 200 pieces of shirts per day. Today it
have 18 different concern and it is a group of industries. “Babylon Group Ltd
week I got an opportunity to visit this factory. Now, I’m going to write a
report about my “Factory Visit”.

Babylon Causal Wear Ltd in WRAP certified factory

An major units have separate triaging centers for workers and staff under go
training session in a regular basis. Training programme is designed according
to the reed assessed for the target group.

Group has a central research and development (R & D) cell where a five
member team to engineers and other specialists contribute to:
 Design the most appropriate machine layout
 Suggesting improved work method
 Recommending use of special works aids
 Reducing re-work and re-process
 Raising productivity, improving efficiency and ultimately contributing
to production cost reduction.

Sample Section

It is the first section of “Babylon Casual Wear Ltd.” Manufacturing process.

This section is used in for.
 To make sample garments for approval.
 To make pattern set for bulk production.

Cutting Section:

It is the second and important section of garments manufacturing process. In

this section. The Following works are completed.
 Worker Making
 Fabric Speeding
 Fabric Cutting

Sewing Section

When all the garments are complete to cal in the cutting section, all of the
cutting parts are sanding to sewing department for making garments.
Garments cut parts are assembled here.

Finishing Section

The last step of garments making all of the finishing process are done here.
 Pressing/Ironing
 Packing
 Cartooning
 Arranging Final inspection and shipment.

Store

Store is essential to presence the raw materials and final finished goods. It is
important to maintain correct information about the current stored materials.
For this purpose. “Babylon Casual Wear Ltd maintain a Manual registration
book for the materials.

Maintenance Section

Maintenance section of “Babylon Causal Wear Ltd” restlessly work to ensure

the proper function of the machine and its part. They do the following works.
 To store machine parts
 To supply tools and equipments

Quality Assurance
It refers to the planned and systematic activities implemented in a quality
system so that quality requirements for a product or service will be fulfilled.
It is the systematic measurement, comparison with management standard
monitoring of process and associated feedback loop that confers error
prevention. This can be constricted with quality control, which is focused as
process outpit.

Babylon Faculties operate in full compliance with the laws and regulations of

Workers maybe not younger than 18 years of age.

Forced labour:
Babylon facilities don’t use involuntary or forced labour.

Wage benefits
Babylon faculties compensate their employees fairly by providing

provided with a clear, written accounting for each pay period.

the jurisdiction in which they manufactures on 60 hours per week including
over time.

our knowledge to enter into the practical life. Babylon Group (Babylon
Casual wear Ltd.) is a well-known factory in the textile field of Bangladesh.
The administrative, management, chain of command all are the well
organized. They are well equipped with all of the modern machineries and
the working environment is excellent. The relation between top management
to bottom level is so nice & devoted to satisfy the customer demand by their
activities.
The factory runs by a number of efficient textile engineers, skilled technical
& Non-technical persons. They are very sincere, co-operative and helpful
and all the information in this report about Babylon Group (Babylon
Casualwear Ltd.) is supplied by them. They are very much objective and
practical so that one can get the desire information about the factory.
