LIZ BAND

Inspired by Deborah Roberti's "Bobble Bangles"

SUPPLIES:
• 11/0 seed beads (SB11)
• 8/0 seed beads (SB8) - you will need 2
• SuperDuos, smooth SuperDuos or Mini DiamonDuos (SD)
• 3mm druks, fire polished beads or 3x4mm rondelles (D)
• Clasp
• Jump rings
• Nymo D thread or Fireline (3 to 3 1/2 yards)
• Size 12 beading needle recommended

Below is a guide to help you determine approximately how many SuperDuo and
druk beads you will need for your size:

• 6-inch wrist: 16-17 Superduo beads and 30-32 druks

• 7-inch wrist: 18-19 Superduo beads and 34-36 druks
• 7 1/2-inch wrist: 22-23 Superduo beads and 44-46 druks
• 8-inch wrist: 27-28 Superduo beads and 54-55 druks
THE FIRST SIDE OF THE BRACELET 4. Go through the next two SB11. They are the

NOTE: If you'd like to add an accent color in the

center of each "X", the second SB11 that you
pick up in step 3 is the accent bead.

through the last two SB11. Pop out the SB11
that was skipped so that the beads form a
pointed "V" shape.
7. Repeat Steps 3-6 for the length of this side of
the bracelet.
THE SECOND SIDE OF THE BRACELET
8. You should be exiting from the last SB11
next to the SD on the end of the bracelet. Pick
up two SB11 then go across the SD and in
through the empty hole.
9. Pick up five SB11. Go around and back
through the same hole in the SD that you just
exited.
10. Go across the SD and in through the other
hole on this side. Go on through the two SB11
between the holes in the SD and on through the
next two SB11.
11. Skip the next SB11 and go through the last
two SB11. Pop out the SB11 that was skipped
so that the beads form a pointed "V" shape.
12. Pick up one SB11. Go through the middle
SB11 of the nine SB11 going around the D.
13. Pick up two SB11 + one D. Go around and
back through the two SB11 just before the
middle one near the D. Go through the middle
SB11 that your thread is coming out of. Exit
through the two SB11 that you just added.
14. Go through the D and the next two SB11
going toward the inner part of the bracelet.
19. Reinforce the clasp loop by going through
the four SB11 along the side of the SD then
back around through the clasp loop, going
through the SB8 this time. Reinforce the loop
twice.

15. Go around through the next five SB11 as

shown in the diagram.

20. Weave around through the next five SB11

then go on through the SB11 in the center
between the two D's as shown. Exit through the
two SB11 to the left of the D.

16. Pick up three SB11 + one SB8 + three

SB11. Skip over the next four SB11 and go
through the last two SB11 on the end of the
bracelet.

21. Pick up four SB11. Go around and through

the open hole of the next SD with your needle
going toward you.
17. Weave around the perimeter of the motif
again, going through eight SB11 as shown in
the diagram.

22. Go back around through the five SB11 and

ADDING THE SECOND CLASP LOOP

37. Thread the tail on your needle. Weave the
tail thread around the clasp loop and the four
adjacent SB11's once or twice then cut the
thread.

38. Attach the clasp with jump rings through the

SB8's on the ends.

33. Weave around the perimeter of the motif

again, going through eight SB11. You should be
exiting from the SB11 just before the clasp loop.

34. Go through the first three SB11 of the clasp

loop. Skip the SB8 and go through the last three
SB11 of the clasp loop. Pop out the SB8.

35. Reinforce the clasp loop by going through

the four SB11 along the side of the SD then go
back around through the clasp loop, going
through the SB8 this time.
