Answers must be associated with questions so after asking the

question, you must search for its answer. Before we search for the
answer, we must show will of solving this dilemma. So, the questions
that we need to have answers to are that:
Can we really solve Egypt’s problem of energy?! Can we really end the
usage of fossil fuels in Egypt?! Of course, we can.
The future of progress in Egypt depends on overcoming its eleven grand
challenges like: over population, arid areas, urban congestion and the
problem of energy consumption. All of these challenges stand as a hail
between Egypt and the great projects of the development that keep
pace with the age of technology. But nowadays the most effective
factor is the problem of energy consumption.
Energy is the most important factor in the renaissance of nations. With
energy we can go on industry producing many things in several fields
and facilitate life.
So, we must search for an alternative source for the energy instead of
fossil fuels that are non-renewable sources
for energy and hurt
the environment

So solar cells are suitable solutions to the energy crisis as they can be
abundant in Egypt as they are made from silica and the pure sand are
the source of silica and pure sand are available in all deserts of Egypt.
As solar cell is the cleanest renewable energy and it is cheap compared
to other renewable sources, we chose it to be our solution. But it has
some disadvantages like its low efficiency and it is greatly affected by
rain ,wind and dust. To present a good project we must follow the
design requirements like: high efficiency and low cost: we tried to
increase the solar cell efficiency by making solar cell tracker to increase
the efficiency of solar cell by 30% and by putting a layer of epoxy on the
cell surface, the efficiency will increase by 30% and by decreasing the
temperature of the cell by a sheet of aluminum the efficiency will
increase by 1% and the cost will increase by 15% and this cost is too low
compared to the efficiency that increased. Also, the solar cell has no
negative environmental impacts so it is an echo-friendly resource of
energy. And it also characterized by a great rate of safety. So, our
project is a good project as it achieves all design requirements.
