Configuración y calibración del controlador IVP 

Esta lista de verificación es para trabajar en campo con el IVP conectado a un PLC con una señal de 
4‐20 mA 
Una vez que todo el cableado está completo, se aplica aire y energía al sistema: si ésta es la primera 
vez  que  se  configura  el  controlador,  la  pantalla  mostrará  la  palabra  OFF.  Si  el  controlador  ha  sido 
programado  antes,  mostrará  la  puerta  MANUAL  0%  o  mostrará  la  puerta  REMOTO  0%  si  hay  una 
señal 4‐20 mA presente, si no hay una señal 4‐20 mA, la pantalla mostrará "mala entrada remota". ". 
 
1. Presione el botón de apagado 
2. Presione el botón manual de ejecución 
3. Presione y MANTENGA PULSADO el botón de apertura hasta que la hoja esté totalmente retraída 
4. Presione el botón PROGRAM, luego presione el botón MENÚ 
5. Mueva la flecha hacia arriba o hacia abajo hasta que vea la E / S y PU ‐ luego presione el botón 
SELECCIONAR OPCIÓN 
6. Encuentra INPUT a 4‐20 mA Norm usando las flechas arriba y abajo‐ presiona la opción de 
seleccionar. 
7. Se debe mostrar OUTPUT 4‐20 mA Norm ‐ presione SELECT OPTION 
8. Presione el botón MENÚ, luego use las teclas de flecha para encontrar CALIBRAR y luego presione 
el botón SELECCIONAR OPCIÓN 
9. Use las flechas hacia arriba y hacia abajo para buscar BANDA MUERTA ‐ presione la opción de 
seleccionar ‐ use las teclas de flecha para configurar el 2% y presione de nuevo la opción de 
seleccionar 
10. Use las flechas hacia arriba y hacia abajo para encontrar FB POT CAL ‐ presione SELECT OPTION ‐ 
FB POT CLOSED CAL aparecerá en la pantalla. 
11. Mantenga presionado el botón CLOSE hasta que la hoja esté completamente cerrada ‐ presione 
SELECT OPTION ‐ FB POT OPEN CAL aparecerá en la pantalla. 
12. Mantenga presionado el botón OPEN hasta que la hoja esté completamente abierta ‐ presione 
SELECT OPTION 
13. Nota: si solo planea operar manualmente, vaya al paso 18. 
14. Nota: este paso requiere una señal 4‐20 mA del PLC. Use las teclas de flecha hacia arriba y hacia 
abajo para encontrar SET RECIEVER ‐ presione SELECT OPTION ‐ 4 mA se mostrará en la pantalla ‐ 
presione SELECT OPTION y luego aparecerá 20 mA ‐ presione SELECT OPTION 
15. Presione el botón MENÚ ‐ use las teclas de flecha para encontrar VALORES DE CORTE ‐ presione 
SELECCIONAR OPCIÓN una y otra vez hasta que encuentre el AJUSTE AUTOMÁTICO ‐ use las teclas 
de flecha para configurar el 0% ‐ presione SELECCIONAR OPCIÓN 
16. Presione MENÚ, presione PROGRAMA, presione EJECUTAR MANUAL 
17. Mantenga presionado el botón CLOSE hasta que la puerta se cierre por completo 
18. Presione el botón POWER OFF ‐ Presione el botón RUN REMOTE ‐ ahora use su PLC para 
controlar

IVP controller set up and calibration 

This checklist is for in the field with the IVP hooked up to a PLC running 4‐20 Ma signal 

Once all wiring is complete, air and power applied to the system ‐ If this is the first time the 
controller is being set up, the display will show the word OFF.  If the controller has been programed 
before It will either show MANUAL gate 0% or it will show REMOTE gate 0% if a 4‐20 Ma signal is 
present, if no 4‐20  Ma signal is present the display will show “bad remote input”.  

1. Press the power off button 
2. Press the run manual button 
3. Press and HOLD the open button until blade is fully retracted 
4. Press the PROGRAM button, then press the MENU button 
5. Arrow up or down until you see the I/O & PU – then press the SELECT OPTION button 
6. Find INPUT to 4‐20 Ma Norm using up and down arrows‐ press select option 
7. OUTPUT 4‐20 Ma Norm should be displayed – press SELECT OPTION 
8. Press MENU button, then use arrow keys to find CALIBRATE then press SELECT OPTION 
button 
9. Use up and down arrows to find DEADBAND – press select option – use arrow keys to set to 
2% and press select option again 
10. Use up and down arrows to find FB POT CAL – press SELECT OPTION – FB POT CLOSED CAL 
will be in display. 
11. Press and hold the CLOSE button until the blade is fully closed – press SELECT OPTION – FB 
POT OPEN CAL will be in the display. 
12. Press and hold the OPEN button until the blade is full open – press SELECT OPTION 
13. Note: if you only plan to operate manually go to step 18. 
14. Note: this step requires a 4‐20 Ma signal from the PLC. Use up and down arrow keys to find 
SET RECIEVER – press SELECT OPTION – 4 Ma will show on display – press SELECT OPTION 
then 20 Ma will be displayed – press SELECT OPTION 
15. Press the MENU button – use arrow keys to find TRIM VALUES – press SELECT OPTION over 
and over until you find AUTO STEP – use arrow keys to set to 0% ‐ press SELECT OPTION 
16. Press MENU, Press PROGRAM, Press RUN MANUAL 
17. Press and hold the CLOSE button until gate fully closes  
18. Press POWER OFF button – Press RUN REMOTE button – now use your PLC to control.
