-9(A) loaders use the same type of transmission as -7(A). Though the -9A
loader (HL760-9A and up) is equipped with a 5-speed transmission, with
“convertor lock-up” as standard. Differences between -7(A) & -9(A) loaders
are mainly about controlling of TCU: eg. “Auto select” & Clutch cut-off. See
below pictures. For connector-nrs and pin-nrs, always refer to the correct
electric machine circuit.

The gear selector on 4-speed transm. or 5-speed Model HL757 HL760 HL770 HL780
transmission, is the same: it only shows gear -
selection from 1e to 4e speed. -9 4-Sp 37.7 38.0 41.0 36.5
In case of 5-sp. transm. however, the 5e gear will be
engaged “automaticaly”, depending on speed, when 4-Sp 38.5 38.5 42.0 36.0
you drive in 4e gear “automatic” mode or 4e gear -9A
“manual” mode . If 5e gear is active, it will be visible 5-Sp 40.8 42.5 46.0 41.0
on the cluster.

11. AEB (AUTOMATIC FILLING PARAMETER DETERMINATION)
A. DESCRIPTION

TRANSMISSION
CALIBRATION
PROCEDURE

Before starting the AEB cycle :


1) warm up the transmission (T transm > 80°C)
2) move shift lever to Neutral position
3) engage parking brake
4) make sure that RPM is between 900 - 1000 -7(A) -9(A)
How to operate AEB procedure
On the display: - select Menu / Adjustment/ “AEB” setting - select Menu / Mode / “AEB” setting
- push “SELECT” (=Enter) during 3 seconds - push “SELECT” (=Enter) during 3 seconds

Now, “K1, K2, K3, K4, KV, KR, (KW)” and finally “OK” should be displayed on the screen successively
If not so, refer to the AEB table on next page and make sure that all parameters are OK . Then, try again
