17 Bridges takes place over one dark night of the soul in Manhattan, when the island is shut down by the NYPD after 6 of its number are slain in a
shootout at the scene of a drug heist. Detective Simpson is the lead officer in the hunt for two renegade gunmen. He is quietly told to save the city the
cost of a trial. Simpson joined the force after his father (also a cop) was killed in the line of duty. He gets the job because he has a history of killing cop
killers. However, when the trail leads to a quagmire of police corruption, Simpson discovers the real reason why everyone wants these men dead. He
is leading a cover up. Now he must risk everything to bring two murderers in alive and protect his idea of justice from the forces of law and order.
