Objectives

By the end of the event, learners will be able to:


1. Recognize the different sectors involved in nutrition,
food, and health advocacy.
2. Identify programs that are currently in place to combat
hunger through sustainable practices.
3. Explain how to prepare for, facilitate, and follow-up on
meetings with policy-makers and/or their staff.
4. Strategize on ways to advocate for food, nutrition, and
health policies.
5. Practice how to speak to your legislator
