AVEVA Solutions confirms that the software product named in this Quality Note has been developed and
tested in accordance with the company’s KEYSTONE lifecycle processes and, unless otherwise noted
hereunder, conforms to the specifications as described in the product documentation.

• EXCEPTIONS
SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT DEFECTS AND RECOMMENDED WORKAROUNDS

1) There are various improvements and corrections required for UNDO/REDO, together with its
implementation in Draft. (4434, 4732, 4917, 4975, 5120)

2) Although use of international languages has been improved for PDMS 11.6, there are still various
issues, which will be addressed either in the next service pack or in PDMS 12.

3) Dice can sometimes incorrectly show errors in large Dabacon tables. (HPD 16305 (2879))

4) Centreline length output to file is incorrect in Imperial (English) units. (3777)

5) With 2D views, the ‘arrow’ keys seem to be locked to the horizontal scroll bars and do work properly.

6) POHEDRON does not Export correctly. HPD 23332 (4127)
7) The extract control form does not handle deleted sites correctly and cannot delete a site if one or more
sites are controlled by a DAC. (4366)

8) Unhandled Exception error message is give if Auto-hide option is used on the Command Line. (4422)

16) A docking form that is undocked will not show ToolTips on pixmap buttons. (5284)
17) Wigwam overflow crash when drawing a model (created using ImPLANT) with a very large number of
EXTRUsions. Existing checks are inadequate and need to be extended to the number of vertices per
significant element. (5406)
18) Error 21s (Primitive Group too long) from GOPPLN, when drawing large models created using
ImPLANT. Existing checks need to be extended. Splitting or simplifying the model will usually help. (5680)
19) Some PDMS blocking forms prevent the user from accessing other applications, including MS Office
etc.(5427,5428)
20) Certain changes are treated incorrectly during reconfiguration of extracts (5613)

ACCEPTANCE OR TEST EXIT CRITERIA

• Level 1 and 2 Core regression Tests to be complete and have run successfully.
• Execution of both the business and user scenarios.
• Full internal test programme, comprising a series of QA cycles (test, fix, rebuild, retest), covering
specific application areas, language testing, and demonstrating improved levels of quality at each
cycle.
• Successful execution of multi-user / multi-write tests.
• Final installation test of the production release.
• Any significant faults remaining in the Production release to be documented in the Quality Notes,
with a stated intention to fix the faults.
