Overview

Mindstorm Engineering is a service provider in field of Automation, Electrical,

Instrumentation & Control and Industrial Automation Training Institute with
Expert Staff of Professional Engineers having years of experience.

Mindstorm Engineering is an emerging organization focused and committed

to bring Industrial Revolution in Pakistan by bringing new products to
optimize industrial processes, provide solutions to problems industries
deals with and to implement automation techniques and projects to increase
machinery performance and availability while providing hands on experience
and training’s to fresh and experienced engineers thus increasing overall
productivity.

The purpose to initiate Industrial Automation Training Institute is to provide

Skilled Man Power to Industries, to train Fresh Engineers to easily execute
projects when hired, to train the students currently studying with basic
Concepts and a Skill that would help them in rising to competition and
earning a job and to bridge the gap between technical education and
industries.

With “OPEN LAB” initiative for the first time in Pakistan, students can freely
practice in our Lab and build projects on their own by using our Equipment
during course time.

TRAINING 01: INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION

Module 1 Industrial Sensors and Actuators: Switches, Relays, Indicators, SLD,

Control Schematics, Transducers, Relay Logic Circuits.

Module 2 Basics of Relay Logic Designing , Programming Logic Controllers

Programming, Wiring and Interfacing with Switches, Sensors,
Transducers, Relays, Voltage/Current Meters, Indicators, Actuators.
PLCs including Siemens S7-300, Delta ES2/EX2, Fatek FBs.
Communication Protocols, Analog and PID Programming with
Application Examples & Troubleshooting, Automation Process
Designing.

Module 3 Human Machine Interface (HMI) Wiring, Programming, Interface

Designing, Interfacing with PLC, Visual Monitoring and Control,
Alarms and Troubleshooting.

Training Duration: 01 Months (20 Credit Hours)

Fees: 6,500 PKR

Classes will be Held on Weekends from 4-6Pm, timings can be adjusted upon
request.
Discounts up to 5%-15% for Students coming in groups.
Trainings are offered to both Students and Professionals.

TRAINING 02: ADVANCE INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION & CONTROL

SYSTEMS

Module 1 Basics of Relay Logic Designing , Programming Logic Controllers

Programming and Interfacing, Switches, Sensors, Transducers, Relays,
Voltage/Current Meters, Indicators, Actuators. PLCs including Siemens
S7-300, Delta ES2/EX2, Fatek FBs. Communication Protocols, Analog
and PID Programming with Application Examples. Temperature
System with RTD Module, Communication RTU and Automation
Process Designing.
Module 2 Human Machine Interface (HMI) Wiring, Programming, Interface
Designing, Interfacing with PLC, Visual Monitoring and Control,
Alarms and Troubleshooting.
Module 3 Motor Control using Star-Delta Contactor Technique and Variable
Frequency Drives, motor parameters monitoring on HMI and
operation through PLC-VFD. VFD Programming and Troubleshooting.

Module 4 Pneumatic and Electro-Pneumatic System: Basics of Compressor,

Regulators, Pressure Gauges, Solenoid Valves and Cylinders.
Operation through Siemens S7-300, with protection using Limit,
Proximity and Reed Switches.
Module 5 Process Instrumentation & Plant Simulations: Pressure, Water Level,
and Temperature Control using Honeywell Process Controllers and
Omron Level Controllers. Implementation Application Example on
Boilers Feed Water Tanks. Plant Simulations by Operating PLC, VFD,
HMI and Sensors/Actuators.

Training Duration: 2 Months (40 Credit Hours)

Fees: 12,000 Rs
