1 Confirm that the material is approved by Consultant
Route of ducting and duct support hangers are marked and
2 installed at correct spacing/height/locations as per approved
drawings.
Duct support angle edges are ground and painted after

cutting to size.

4 All the field joints are sealed properly by approved sealant.

Ducts are cleaned internally prior to fix at high level or in

position.

Check all drop rods are correct size, correct entries,

adequately fixed and correct length
All the components of duct system such as vanes, splitters,
volume control dampers, fire dampers, sound attenuator,

flexible duct connectors are installed with correct
accessories at correct location as per approved drawing.
Access panels are provided as indicated on approved
8
drawings.
Ducts passing through walls are having proper clearance to
9
fill the approved sealant/ fire retardant uniformity.

The flexible connectors to the equipments are installed

without any stress/misalignment.
11 Check all fire/smoke dampers/hand balance dampers are
free and open.
12 All Remote control devices etc. are installed
